I can't think of another name than Kojima in the videogame industry who can do something completely outside the box with such a huge budget.

Because it is the Crow! Eric Draven to be precise. He got the hair, the makeup, the guitar and even wings around his eyes.

I’ve kinda signed off DS2 as entertainment over art, cause the electric battle axe guitar is too cool/camp/silly in a horror-hiking-amazon sim that goes for serious. An assault rifle gun would be faster, like if joker-theCrow-Higgs had the strings on the gun. It’s the visual prop version of Princess Beach to me. I’m more excited for OD for xbox and kojimas stealth action title for sony. Weird but I’m wanting to play the japanese dub to make it more anime, face actor voice performances be damned, kojimas writing janglish.

TBF Kojima has always done silly shit with his super serious story takes. MGS is full of really silly over the top things.

Yeah, kojimas games are notoriously completely serious and have zero campy elements at all. No dialogue about cheeseburgers, or big boss believing in Santa. 😑

@@KingOfTheKill10001 side mythos vs a guitar gun center stage with cutscene money and slowmo. I welcome the pains japanese wasps and bologna lightning since they used them in combat - same for the vocal cord parasite invisibility&3D printing. MGS was usually about the mission, nukes escalating, but DS is more preventing apocalypses continuing on.

@ trying to think of silly mgs weapons. The pains wasps at least have tactical use. Raiden had heels to heel grab swords. Vamp & the senator got explained with nanos. Military Psychics just made it surreal to me not silly. I guess I see a finer line, idk how to put it in words. Mgs feels like guardians of the galaxy, DS2 might be Thor love and thunder (goat jokes and cancer).
