Back in my day playing Death Stranding we didn't have delivery catapults and we were happy!

These things were already in the original version: Stabilizers power gloves Different colored suits (after beating the game) Being able to use a carrier on a zip line looks like it would completely change the game for me. Ditto for the new roads near the mountains.

1:11 Wrong. It is a real ultra wide screen mode with increased fov. There is no content cut from the picture, it's the other way around (content ist cut from the wide screen mode left and right to fit the picture of the standard mode into 16:9 ratio). Even the cutscenes have more information now left and right, with the ultra wide screen mode.

It's not real in the sense that you can't play on an ultra-wide display without bars because there simply is no support for that on the PS5. It just outputs a standard 16:9 aspect ratio with bars. While the picture is indeed ultra-wide with the expected fov increase, it's not ultra-wide in what one would expect in a technical sense, in all the ways that it is often talked about in the industry.

@@Adamska156 It is ultrawide in a technical sense not really sure why you'd argue otherwise. Blackbars or not you are getting an ultrawide aspect ratio and not a 16:9 presentation. 3840x1643 resolution.

Death Stranding is a beautiful metaphor for life. We all have to carry baggage every day. Some day more then others. Some days is almost impossible. It takes us so long to get to were we need to. Then when we finally get rid of the baggage, we are given more! It never ends. The journey is not always fun. Sometimes it flying down a highway. Though, mostly it's harsh terrain. Where we are haunted by ghosts of the past, and people the wanna beat us up and steal our stuff. We forget what's around us though. How beautiful it all is. In the thick of it, it's all still so beautiful. Even after its all been destroyed......

Kinda a shame its no longer Monster Energy drink. Never liked the stuff, but seeing it for so long during all the game-play really made me link it to the game. Gun range is a big improvement as it actually helps you prepare for the main quest. Was just playing it non lethal and sneaky all the time, and then the story drops you in a full blown combat scenario every so often, nothing prepared me for any of that!

The ultrawide option looks really cool. One of the biggest draws to play games on PC for me is being able to play in 21:9 or wider - I'd love to see more PS5 games emulate that with top/bottom letterboxing like this. With a large TV, cutting the vertical pixels seems like it would be worth the increased FOV

As someone who played through the OG death stranding on PC in 1080p Ultrawide 21:9 it was vastly superior being able to see more about Sam and more of the beautiful environment. This letter box feature allows people to play Ultrawide with a normal 16:9 monitor, which is awesome for someone like me who wants to play UW but had to upgrade to a 1440p 16:9 monitor instead. 21:9 will always be superior to 16:9 but for some reason normal monitors are always 16:9 (despite the fact that 16:10 is still better than 16:9.. and 21:9 is better than 16:9 too, it seems we've gone backwards somehow).

Yes its easy. Without any orders left stand on the terminal and put your handcuffs up and then select data and transfer.

1:36 just looked up what director's cut means and basically it's the director's own vision, meaning that Hideo prolly didn't even really want the Monster energy in the original game so it was replaced or it is manybe licensing expired shits

the name "director's cut" wasn't Kojima's decision, he wanted "director's plus" or something like that. It was probably the licensing that expired.

It's PS5 only unfortunately. The PS4 version probably offers the game as a free upgrade on the PS5 though, like most PS4 games with a next-gen version.

@@donproduction6248 in the original, you could get stuck behind rocks etc, now it looks amd feels they really took time to work on the terrain and of you compare them next to each other, you really see a different in structure amd placement of stuff. Also there is new content even in the first episodes already amd knowimg Kojima there will be secrets and hidden stuff. Games feels different and better. Love it all over again.

Adding patches, stabilizers, colors and other things to the backpack was in the og game too, the only new backpack thing is the jetpack thing. It's almost like most review sites just ran through the game and had no interest in it. They did none of the optional content that give all the cool tools.

it's an accessory you can wear. It's in fact a cross-promtion Item directly referencing Cyberpunk 2077. There are also Half-Life themed accessories.
