That was literally how I envisioned Light's laughter to sound like, when reading the manga. It just fits perfectly. In the original content of that scene, Light is literally seen "crushing" his face into the floor, crying manically, only to transform into a hysterical laughter; and this actor pulled that off amazingly. That sobbing in the beginning though... really terrifying.

I think the most impressive thing about this is that the entire scene is acted. In between the laugh and dialog, you can hear Light's uneven breathing all the while.

The thing about this is, It actually feels in character. The scene shows Kira's defeat, He went insane and laughed. But of course, Knowing that he's in a tight corner... He'll be a bit scared, So the stuttering during his words and the sobbing during the laugh feels on point.

Ok not gonna lie this is scarier than the English and Japanese one combined.

I always knew that Italian dubs were good, but this really takes the cake

BEST VERSION EVER He totally sounded like he lost his shit

That little breather he does at the end of his laugh at an attempt to compose himself is just icing on the cake

It's honestly amazing that he switched from crying noises to crazy laughing so fast 😐🙁

I'm usually not interested in anime VA's outside of Japan and America/Canada, not that I don't respect them, it's just that I don't know too much. But everyone seems to agree, the Italian VA was phenomonal. God, this sounded terrifying. The fact that he sounded like he was crying at the beginning really added to it. Also, I can't remember his name, but I think this guy is also the Italian Goku. Well, props to him for this blood-curdling laugh.

@@iamtheforeverboy8580 Sui film sono a abbastanza d'accordo... Ma sugli anime non completamente infatti penso che in generale l'originale è meglio ma che ci sono alcuni in cui il doppiaggio italiano è meglio o comunque ottimo

@@iamtheforeverboy8580 infatti siamo uno dei pochi paesi nel mondo che doppia praticamente tutti i film stranieri prima di farli uscire al cinema, ad esempio in Portogallo molti non vengono doppiati(che è uno dei motivi per cui in altri paesi si conosce in maggior percentuale la lingua inglese). Il fatto è che molti doppiatori italiani sono praticamente degli attori, riescono a interpretare anche personaggi diversissimi tra loro, basti pensare a Claudio Moneta, doppiatore del fighissimo e potentissimo Goku in Dragon Ball Super e del tenero e innocente Spongebob

@@AbsinthedeLaRochefoucauld once I made a laugh strangely similar because psychiatrist wanted to inject me with haldol. I am bipolar and against these fucking treatments, it makes me like a fucking zombie, so when he said that I really gone crazy, my mind just broke.

okay, Kira's evil laugh sounds even more terrifying and disturbing in Italian dub... 😱

I LOVE this version. It sounds almost exactly like Megatron from the Unicron Trilogy.

That breaths after the laugh made it sound genuine, in the original and the english dub they just cut out the breaths, props to the actor

Raggedy Exynos throughout most of the story light has been composed and cautious. But here we see him being completely the opposite. Not just the laugh but that breathing definitely expresses him giving into his baser instincts and how excited this makes him. Have you never let yourself go every once and a while?

Raggedy Exynos it's kind of hard to explain if you haven't experienced it. Best way I can explain it is Light is a very intellectual person, and he would usually see outting himself and "unleashing" his primitive self as a taboo of sorts. He is a person that something like this would excite him as the breathing conveys.

as an italian i want to tell you something italian kira VA (Flavio Aquilone) is even the italian VA of Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter from the 3rd film and later on, and even the italian VA of Genos from One Punch Man. always, one of the best VA Italy. P.S. forgot that he is also the VA of Hiccup, Denver from money heist, Juan from aot and A LOT of other characters.

He was the VA of Draco Malfoy in the first two movies too, but he was still very young and his voice had a higher pitch. Then puberty suddenly struck him.
