Guys,L was'nt really dead. He faked it. As soon as Rem killed Watari,she died before writing L's name. Also,L already has his name written but he would've die in 23 days instead. I didn't even cry.

If he wrote his name in the Death Note to die in 23 days,he won't die instantly. That's why it did not affect him. He will wait 23 days later to die. This is already a rule in the Death Note.

Had L not have been at death's door already, he would have done to Light what Netflix L tried to do. Watari's death, would have made him snap.

When everyone has heart attacks, they either scream or be silent. L just made a short conversation with Light in realizing that he's Kira before dying. This is a hint that the former is just faking his own heart attack, as he already wrote down his own name in the Death Note.

Because the original version is Japanese. The movie was made in Japan. There was a huge debate about Rem'a gender. In the English dub,Rem was a female. Rem was originally meant to be a male,proven in the manga and the Japanese airing of the anime. Because Rem had to be a male in this movie,they decided to not go with the English dub for Rem.

@@commandixnostalgia2321 Evidence....? There's nothing in the story that indicated that Rem was male. Rem was a shinigami and she cared for Misa. Show me the evidence that Rem was meant to be a male in the story. There's nothing that indicated that at all. Heck, in Death Note 12:How to Read pg 44 , Rem is refered to be a female. Rem was only referred to as male in bad translation and that was by Light. Rem was always meant to be female. The movie along with many things changed things similar to L beating Light and Officer Yagami surviving the story.

@@Chalicodragon The japanese company that made this movie decided to make Rem a male and the dub just went along. Jelus's voice actor is Rem's so I say it's fine.

They didn't, this released date before the anime so technically the anime made Rem a girl.
