You're definitely right about Donald Pleasence here - he owns the movie. His next best role in a horror movie is in 'From Beyond The Grave' in 'The Medal' segment, in which he appears with his daughter, Angela. They are both superbly creepy in it. And yet he never raises his voice, or expresses anger - and it's awesome.

Absolute classic this is. Came in one night in the early 90s Id had a few then came home with some food. My Mum was still up and we were absolutely spellbound watching this....we had wallights and it made it super atmospheric.....my family worked on the railway...

Yeah, thought you covered this one! Really liked how you tacked the the commentary on class and class struggle in this movie, we could have gone deeper into that ourselves. Also YES you're not the only person who mentioned Calhoun should have gotten his own series, that would have been amazing. Cheers, and mind the doors!

Watched it thanks to your review. Good stuff. I actually like the young lady character too (because she cares ... plus she's cute), but, yeah, Pleasence is the standout performer.

Thanks Joshua. I didn't give myself time to mention the lead actress, but you're right she is really likeable and (I think) super cute :) I also liked how there were ideological differences between the two students rather than them being the young generation vs "the man". I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

A review is supposed to tell us what the movie is about, idgaf about the "political commentary" I just want to know wether it's worth watching. EDIT Sorry five minutes in you actually start talking about the movie.

So why would you rely on someone else's perspective? It's entirely subjective. Watch it and find out. Hint try watching a video in full before commenting, makes you look like less of a twat.

@@Grandmastergav86 That's some good advice there Grandmaster. I'll try to be less of a twat in the future, soon as I find out what a twat is. It doesnt sound good...
