I prefer jack whites grittiness but this sounds more on par with the original son house. This guy here has a very powerful voice.
Like the intro which has a Muddy Waters feel that then becomes Son House.

First time I ever heard it attributed to Ida Cox...not even close, different lyrics. Son may have been inspired by it. Also Humble Pie did Four Day Creep says written by her, yet her version is like Outside Woman Blues by Cream. Don't know what song Humble Pie was doing.
