I agree so so much many people can copy other people songs, and play covers and do a great job, but not many people have their ability to write songs the way, Chuck did he spit them out it came naturally to him that’s a real musician yes Chuck was special his influence lives on woven in the fabric of all metal

Chuck is literally DRIPPING sweat at 2:39. Shows what a great performer he was that he gave his all for the music. An incredible mind and inspiring lyrics.
ive learned this whole song on guitar minus chuck's interlude solo and i can now really say learning chuck's riffs is like tapping into the mind of a musical genius. sound of perseverance is my fave death album, every song is deathly sick

Chuck can write such melodic and at the same time brutal stuff. He is my guitar idol. If Chuck was still alive, I would go to every Death concert near me. RIP Chuck.
This may be the best live drum performance I've ever seen. Pure, raw drums and he doesn't miss a beat.

They had the balls of steel to perform this Live! I wish chuck was alive!!!!
No one in the crowd\slash overall pit seemed to recognize this as a future holy grail that would only shine brighter through out time...

dude, richard christy's fills are so tasty. such an amazing drummer, so different than your typical metal guy, this band at this point in time is fucking unbelievable
i played that part with my cousin, and yes, Chuck its a truly genius by creating such complex music, its hard to keep the timing right during the solo
It's one of those live performances that will leave you speechless.
