Yeah that line of thinking is not so great considering the sheer amount of support material on Star Wars, I mean, novelizations of the movies describing Jedi fighting like a blur to other powerful jedi, describing Obi deflecting up to 34 hits of light speed projectiles per second, Palpatine being able to destroy a fleet of starships with lighting casually, the blackhole feat by Kip, Sith consuming planets and the life force of planets, heck Luke fought the mother, a creature who could consume a galaxy. But sure, "in the movies" is gonna cut it.

@@valydendor4472 kakashi could trap one arm into the kamui dimension like he did with deidara . we know its difficult for jedi to use the force with one hand. it was hard for yoda who was the best force user during the clone wars, so we can assume he would fing that to be difficult. as well if we take kakashi at his strongest that would be war arc kakashi im not going to use dual mangekyou kakashi because that was a one time thing but in the war arc kakashi was definently faster than the lighting feat he was as a kid. We didn't even see kakshi use most of his justu other than chidori and mudwall

Saying kamui snipe gives Kakashi the win is like saying Obi wan wins because he could just hold Kakashi in place and crush his heart.

specifically its the one by EA that had a bad launch, but is a freaking awesome game now. Its almost my Go TO star wars game to be honest. Though I do recommend the Console version over PC. That Origin launcher is a pain in the rump.

@@belmontzar You can set up the Origin version to just launch the game automatically when you double click the Battlefront 2 application, no need to go through the launcher. I would recommend turning off Origin Overlay if you do this, thereby pretty much just skipping the origin launcher entirely. The PC Battlefront 2 version also has an excellent modding community. You can't have 32 vs 32 heroes and villains on console instant action (which you can achieve with modding)

Only thing is EA and dice have stopped supporting battlefront 2 and battlefield 5 entirely to focus their full efforts on the next battlefield game which hopefully they don't fuck up like they did with five with its wokeness and arcadiness because if they fail with this next one they're going to be replaced by insurgency sandstorm and squad because if insurgency sandstorms are able to come to consoles that gives me hopes that something like squad would be able to if it was polished up a little bit more

19:20 its hard to show a live action movie with SW characters that moves normally compare to animation. Naruto didnt have a live action movie, because its imposible to show fight scenes from anime and turn that on the big screen where characters are moving so wonky of the amount of cgi theyre on. That is why its better to see the animated version of seeing jedis fight with their power levels in their own 2 shows to see the comparison that not all ninjas are strong enough to fight them.

One thing I hated seeing from this is just how much Obi Wan went into the offensive when he's always defensive. Expect for the ending when he won.

Honestly I think Obi-Wan's ability to see his opponent's future moves and react ahead of time gave him the edge.

@@Fulcron13 sure dude maul didn't get sliced in half because he was too confident in his win. Darth sidious didn't get too confident either when he was thrown by Vader. sith do get over confident it's rare to even see a sith who doesn't actually. It always leads down that path following their sith code if you want more power

Qui-gon was over confident in his lightsaber dueling abilities that's what got him killed, Yoda was overconfident in his accomplishment as a Jedi master then he traveled to a planet controlled by the whillis and got schooled.

@@Gfcp100 true overconfidence is the reason why sith fail 99% i will say that the jedi downfall most of their times is the complete and utter denial to their emotions always trying to supress them rather than to learn how to control them. In my opinion at least

Personally the out come was what I expected, from reading the star wars comics, watching the clone wars series, and the movies, it wasnt all that surprising that Obi-wan had won that battle.

You know, if you haven't seen them yet, you should check out both Yang VS Tifa (a really good punching bout) and Cloud VS Link. The second is one of their early 3D ones, so it's not as good visually, but it's not a bad fight regardless and the analysis is cool.

Only thing I have to say on this one is "When you enter a death battle throw those morals out the window it's no holds bared" Flashback to when Goku destroys kryptonite so Superman can have a fair fight. Not sure if that counts as morals or not.

I would say no. He didn't destroy the kryptonite specifically to help Superman, he did it so that Superman could keep giving him a good fight. Basically, he helped Superman to help himself.

I can't believe you guys are totally new to Star Wars. Really shocks me. Either way, when you were talking about the movies and how fast the Jedi could move, you gotta remember that the prequel trilogy (Episodes 1, 2, and 3) they can only do so much with the technology and such that they had for making those films. There's bonus videos going into the production of these films and what they had to do to make them, and how they were able to improve upon each new film going forward. And so for the original trilogy (Episodes 4, 5, and 6), they were even MORE limited with what they can do for spectacular lightsaber fights.

What I just realized in this fight. Is that DeathBattle has 3D model of Darth Vader. Can't Wait to see what next season may offer.

This is one of the best fights they’ve done in a while

Even tho the fight was sick i can't imagine Kakashi and Obi-wan fighting like i'm sure that those guys would talk it out while having some tea.

Genjutsu wouldn’t work, genjutsu manipulates the chakra in the mind, obi wan doesn’t have any chakra so it’s impossible to be caught in a genjutsu. But at the same time, they forgot that kakashi has the susano which if used the light saber would have no effect, also the kamui shuriken(weapon of his susano) would not be affected by the force due to its ability to bend space. Therefore there should not be any way that kakashi should’ve lost, they left out his most powerful jutstsu and his ability to use the other chakra natures and forms. Yeah he used fire style earth style and lightning, but he can also use wind and water style because of his sharingan, you were right in being surprised that kakashi lost because he shouldn’t have

Keffim Capron while it’s true that it belongs to obito that doesn’t matter, The eye was transplanted into Kakashi using medical ninjutsu which linked the eyes to his chakra network, which means that the eye and it’s power is directly influenced by kakashis chakra alone, when he got the eye it was on the first stage of the sharingan and he alone turned it into the mangekyo sharingan. Along with manifesting and controlling it’s power meaning the kamui and susano. Think like this, madara took the eye from kakashi and transplanted it into himself then preceded to use kamui even tho its obitos, therefore it’s more than possible to say that kakashi is fully able to use the sharingan to its potential.

@Ivan Teoh Shen Yue true, they for sure didnt show kakashis true power and were wrong when they said he only used it with obitos power, obitos power while helpful did not make much of a difference, considering in the manga, its said that kakashi and sauske had similar chakra levels and sauske could use it, theres no doubt that kakashi could too, it would just take longer to train for susano because he has one sharingan eye not two like sauske and itachi.

As a saying goes, "expect the unexpected" when it comes to Death Battle.

The legends comics of obi wan is a god and the cartoons show that and some of the novels do as well so yeah

A series about the backstory of the Jedi? As in that we would finally get to know about the story of the Je’daii, the Gray, maybe even the Force Wars (and probably how the Jedi is pretty much the reason why the endless fight between the Jedi and the Sith started in the first place) and the Old Republic on screen?

I think you're talking about the upcoming High Republic project. Unfortunately it's just books and stuff right now. But you could listen to the audiobook. Also it's only 200 years before Phantom Menace. But you could look at the Old Republic (the trailers would be good reactions) but Disney says it's not canon anymore

Dwayne N Jazz, the Star Wars series you were talking about is a project where it will take place 1000 years in the past, at first, Star Wars fans liked the idea, but after learning the same people who made last Jedi and rise of Skywalker is working on it, it already lost hope for being good

1:56 yes that is a game. It’s battlefront 2 (2017) which sadly or not so sadly depending how you view the game just ended it’s support this month. The game is described by everyone as “the greatest gaming comeback” It got support from the developer from 2017 till may (this year) cause they care for the product.

When it comes down to it when you read the books and the comic books and the manga you'd be surprised how much stronger these characters are than you think

When they going to give my man luffy some love. Probably when the series ends and he gets Gear 5th.
