Hahaha John. I believe you. I got kicked out for asking questions. Pretty sure my question has to do with using anthracite nut coal and burning temps. The reply I got (from an admin) was basically just a slew of amateur insults to my intelligence. And then I was removed 5 minutes later. I made a few other accounts and started trolling them for hahas. Almost miss having social media. But I won't be on FB or insta again.

The PPE and hammer comments are just amazing though. I mean if you want to blacksmith dressed like that have at it. Your going to need the burn unit after your burned unit.

All this time I thought it was only old men with soviet era machines and hipsters making "art pieces" with delams and cold shuts everywhere, then they grind a bar stock into the shape of a dragon with butterfly wings and call it "forging". Now, gotta get make to my small batch, bespoke bottle openers with artisanal twists patterns, which I forge while wearing eye protection and crocs.

@@captainchaos3053 honestly my scars are not that bad, but I will never pass for a pretty boy. Women who like what I have don't mind scars, and the ones who do mind them don't like the rest of my package. I loose nothing by their disgust, and the opinions of strangers mean nothing to me... Basically what I am saying is that if you want to fly your freak flag at the beach, any one who freaks out about it wouldn't be much fun to hang out with anyways. You loose nothing.

@@vidard9863 I guess your right. It's taken me a long time to come to terms with my mashed up body. I'm happily married but even my wife found it hard to get used to. I got tossed across the road in a mortar assisted somersault but it's OK because a truck broke my fall... and my back.😠 She thinks I didn't see her cry in the mirror as she helped me in the bath, and that she doesn't burn deep inside when kids point and adults whisper. But I'm proud to have served and would do it again in a blink. I got used to the wheelchair and can live with the pain but I can't help but feel ugly. Not that I was ever a super model!😃

@@vidard9863 I forge almost daily and sell many tools. I used to have way less regard for my personal safety until....things happened. And I was being careful. They still happened. Slowly I realized the softest thing in the shop is me. So I take two seconds to think about what I'm about to do before doing so. That has reduced the number of injuries greatly. Never totally.
