Still remember the first time I met Abdur Raheem. May Allah grant him the highest level of Jannah. Ameen

Alhamdulillah for this, Mufti Abdul Wahab. A much needed one for me for I just lost my grandmother (paternal side) on the 10th day of Ramadan, 12 April 2022. The pain? No words can express how much it hurt. I never know I could cried out loud while standing on qiyam the night she passes away. She was fine, no illness at all, just preparing for Iftar and then the Angel of Death came and took her life. Just like that. 😭 It shocked me and at the same time I envy of how she dies. How peaceful it was. That everything needed for, (she) well prepared it as if she knows her final moment. 😭 I remember Shaykh Abdullah's words, "HasbunaAllahu wa nee'mal waqeel..." I kept on uttering it. 😭 It is not easy to keep going and continue your life while you're broken inside. May Allāh reunite us w our love ones in Firdaus 'ul A'la. Allahumma Ameen.

Shaykh Abdul Raheem(RA) is a huge source of inspiration for me, and I was able to relate some parts of this poem. I lost one of my close friends recently and its been quite hard, but you guys give me so much hope. JazakAllah khair Mufti Saab for sharing this with us. May Allah bless you and you family members with patience and peace and ease everyone's sufferings!

Salaam. So beautiful MashaAllah. Im 42 and both of my parents have gone back to their Creator as well. AH that we were blessed with them for a short time in dunya. InshaAllah we look forward to reuniting with them again in Jannatul Firdaus. May it be so for us all who have lost loved ones. Ameen. Jazakallah Khair for being so vulnerable and sharing. Any reminder of the bounty of love we had, is good Alhumdullilah.

My sister passing away a day before your brother is one of the biggest reasons I became attached to your institution. Your words provided so much comfort in my heart... Very similiar situation here. My sister passed one month after their brother, and I discovered them around that time. It has been so helpful to see their strength in their healing and makes me feel stronger

Your sharing is true inspiration and the voice of our hearts as my sisters and I go through the struggle of having lost our brother when he was only 23 years old. We and our children are hooked on Miftaah and connect with you, Shaikh Abdullah and Mufti AbdulRahman especially because of this common yearning of our hearts that we share with you brothers. We lost our father two days before Shaikh AbdulRaheem passed away. Life is trialsome and very hard to go through, with our bruised hearts, without our loved ones that we never imagined life without! It takes gathering a lot of strength and courage to share one's personal struggle but it is our Raheem Rabb's utmost mercy that this sharing not only strengthens us from the core but it's a sweet reminder of strength for others with bruised hearts SubhanAllah! and becomes ongoing charity for us Allahu Akbar!! Allahumma bariklakum fima razaqtakum waghfirlakum warHamhum! We would love to come visit you in Michigan and meet your mom!
