I have never dealt with serious depressions but i sometimes have the feeling i dont have control over my life and there where multiple occasions where i was about to write my last words to my best friend, and also one time i was in hospital for overdosing iboprofen and i do think music helped me a lot. When i listen to music i can let go everything i hold back while being surrounded by others as to i cant really show emotions and rather tend to be known as cold-hearted and a little autistic, too. Two days ago i had to go to the doctor for a vaccination and after that i could not move my arm for the rest of the day. I was getting panic attacks all day knowing that i was helpless and did not have the energy to move my arm so listening to sad music helped me get through this rather small problem which caused me a lot of mental trouble. As a very musical person too i just randomly start singing sometimes and there are quite a few pics of me on my phone when i randomly start crying cus of a sad song that brings sad memories up in me but somehow this makes me feel that i am still a person with feelings and that i am not as cold as everyone thinks of me.

I’ve never had depression but I’ve had songs that really helped me through rough times so I get you. This song was actually quite the opposite to me, I used to listen to it after I healed from lung disease. I’m here again because my illness came back but this song makes me happy because it reminded me of that brief time I was healthy but able to appreciate it (also don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere 😁)

I'm a very anxious person and i always come back to listen this song when i got a really bad moment after a long time. For me, this song describes exacly how anxiety fells. If someone asked me how it works, i would recomend this song for sure!

Sometimes i just have a bad time, but some songs just lift me back up to " Okay " Dean Lewis helped me a lot with his songs. Love you all guys.

Dean Lewis is so talented, but he will be overlooked by less gifted pop artists because they have mainstream pull. His songs are genuinely good music, but mediocre catchy pop songs will always win over stuff like this.

Well, Despacito is multicultural so it will naturally have potential to hit a bigger audience. Combine that with the fact JB has been gathering a fan base since he was a kid and then also mix in the fact he is more notable through media interaction... It's not hard to see how those numbers show.
