It's a pity there are only a handful of uploads of this motoring series, same for Driven, why I don't know but I'm guessing it wasn't a well known or popular program that most people watched or taped, unlike 2002 revamped Top Gear, Fifth Gear and Wheeler Dealers that have had a fair share of repeated showings over the years.

I saw a Deals on Wheels episode which had that exact Jeep Cherokee (with the same number plate) and was about 45 mins long with adverts, but I couldn't really figure out whether that belonged to the 1999 series or if it was the continuation of the 1998 series. My guess is that this was either a late episode of Series 2 (1998 series) or first episode of the 3rd series (1999) because of how the "END OF PART ONE" looked much more differently than in the actual episodes of S3 - and now thanks to this episode, seems to be the exact same as the one used in S2, but then there are newer Ch4 idents and one advert suggested something about the deadline of something advertised to the end of January. If you could help with that, I'll be really thankful.

On KZread it was called "Deals on Wheels Mike Brewer Toyota Celica" or something similar.

Hi thanks for the comment, that's interesting what you say. I always try and do some searching to try and find dates of certain shows when texactly they were shown (sites like IMDB contain little to no info on Deals on Wheels, same for other shows like Driven), so I have to search via old TV listings archives and I've been lucky enough to find nearly every air date of this series from 1997-1999; the 2000s series are hard to find because alot of newspaper archives I've come across don't archive past 1999 (there are some Twitter posts of old TV and Radio Times scans but not all are there). I have a listing of the 26th Aug 98 which I got from the Liverpool Echo newspaper and it mentions the Jeep Cherokee, plus this recording was taped in-between episodes of the BBC antiques series The Great Antiques Hunt which were shown in Aug 1998, so that confirms to me this episode was shown sometime in Aug 98, but until I came across the TV listing I wasn't sure which date in August it was, but now I know. I think I may also have the first ep of the 1998 series. Another thing to look up to try and find the date of a particular recording is with the Channel idents. TV Ark is often a good place to find when a particular channel ident was introduced which will give an idea of roughly when the program or film was shown as they tend to change every year.

@@revolume Some of the 2000 series have been uploaded to youtube I've seen, also the All4 streaming site has some of the 2000 series on there, pity the rest of the series isn't. Where did you see the full Jeep Cherokee episode?. Deals on Wheels only ran for about 30 mins.
