Fantastic video. Short, concise, straight to the point. I often refer back to these shorter videos the night before I ride, nice to have it fresh in the brain for race day. Keep em coming 👏🏻

One thing we forget to think about is when you hit the jump face it naturally wants to make you lean back because you're going up a Hill basically. So you have to Compensate for that by leaning forward head over the bars as you're driving up the face of the jump.

ok, big question here or "Mythbuster"; If you let off of the gas at the "TOP" of the jump will the Bike "Endo" off the lip or will it stay level? noticing all pros rip it to the jump and then let off at the top of the jump face or at the bottom of the face jump in order to not OJ. I have always Heard: that you have to keep the power on through the jump lip or the Bike will naturally nose dive (i get that engine brake will naturally cause it to go down but i get nervous to try it really). I heard for 2 strokes that you have to let off the throttle when hitting the jump lip or just that will happen. don't know if it is just a myth or urban legend or straight BS but i had a pro say it will not Endo you over the bars if you let off right at the lip and it severely confused me. I know they scrub off the jump faces but they also let off the gas at almost every. I hope i am explaining my question clearly? Thank you, Severely Confused from GA

I almost died today on a 90+ft jump. I endoed badly. I thought I was going to not make it. I leaned back as much as I could I swear I landed on a nose wheelie some how the back corrected it self. I barely made it. I’m trying to understand what I did wrong. I was hitting jump very well about 15 times maybe. I don’t understand if it’s the bike or me.

This happens automatically if the rider has a loose bar grip and loose arms. Regardless of how much power, since loose arms and grip force a rider to be balanced on the pegs. Yes. The posture presented is very important. It’s just also important to be balanced over the bike without thought.
