It brings me great sadness to know that other people are going through the same things we are. I have to constantly remind myself that it’s not me. And that I am not a failure because of this, it gets harder and harder when you see other people in your circle finding careers in this tough market but I have to be kind to myself.

I'm so sorry to hear this is happening to you. I stumbled on your video by accident, but I think it was on purpose. I'm in a similar situation as you. The job market is rough all around the world. I'm from Poland and I also struggle to get a job, even though I get through most of the job interview stages. In the end, I always get the word "unfortunately". I just want you to know, that you are strong and determined. You still seek out for job offers even after countless rejections. And yes, it does mess with the perception of yourself: "Am I good enough?". We have to keep on going. I believe in you, sis. I want to see your dreams come true.

I just moved to Texas and my normal turn around time for a job is usually 48 hours I been here 2 weeks and have not got one call back my resume is AMAZING once I get a interview I know I got the job I just need one interview !!

To help with patience I tell myself the job that is meant for me has not been created yet. In the moment where thoughts will wrap thoughts I say it to calm my mind and it works.

I'm totally with you it's very discouraging translate Leah I have felt my fire in passionate dwindling. Hungry part of me is slowly dying sometimes I do worry because I was always a very motivated and driven person. I also often wonder whether my time in this industry that I'm looking at is over. And maybe I'm just a little late as I'm getting older I'm 42 now

I’m in the same situation. I’ve been unemployed for a year now. I have an MBA and want to work from home as well. I’ve been let down so much and have had my moments where I have cried and want to give up on looking. I’m not sure what’s going on or why it’s so hard to find employment. I have never been in this situation. I keep trying to hold on to hope that something’s going to happen. I pray that things change and we find something soon🫶🏽

Well, firstly I wish you well on this journey and for you to keep your motivation and spirits up. You're on a tough path as a young person, but you're smart and other than the dog--I'm thinking that you don't have anybody depending on you on a daily basis (kids or old folks). So that's a big deal. Not sure if you have any debt issues, but I'm hoping not. ( for context, my school stuff was over 500k!!!) When....I think I was probably your age, I moved to Japan. And with my color...whew, NOT easy to find a job. Even coming from a prestigious university! 6 weeks might not seem like much, but it was 35 pounds of weight loss walking those streets on limited money. I'm now gonna do the "man thing" and give unwanted advice--but take it as a buffet table option not me TELLING you what to do. Mostly I want to share options so you can see a wider viewer. I feel your sadness might be sorta based in a tunnel visiony view on things--if that makes sense. Anyway sounds like you want the remote job life. You know, as a native English speaker you HAVE a skill. To teach. Not just in the US, but around the world. You can can even teach "abroad" students from the US. (all the instructions are right here on youtube) Personally, the REASON your printify pop shop video was so life changing for me, was because it was the piece of the puzzle I needed to make my PERMANENT exit from the US in a few months. I get it, you wanna stay here (but I'll check in with you in few years 😉. And just to reiterate you REALLY helped ME. This coming from a guy who's gas was supposed to be turned off 2 weeks back, and currently dealing with a house foreclose---but being able to SEE my new life makes the current hardships bearable. But it sounds like you want a career type job that matches your sensibilities. That's ok, just saying, you can teach, sell hair stuff or other stuff online, etc., until you get that goal you want.

I really appreciate this comment. I have to take a few days to really sit with this and reflect. Moving out of the US for a few years is something I’ve considered for when I’m older! I’ve got dual citizenship with Ireland, so moving to Europe wouldn’t be too much of a hassle! Thank you for your comment❤️

@@RavenReneee Hahaha, that’s great! I have a tab open right now about the rules for Ireland naturalization, and if my heritage is too far back (it is). So ok, I said a lot. But I’ll just cap it off with this last little bit, since I was writing some other stuff. As an outsider looking in. It sort of sounds like you do have a few more decisions to make regarding; -Putting your foot squarely on the career pursuit (and that could mean relocation too if you’re willing to have a very wide net) -Or make it possible to live that freedom lifestyle And again, I hate to sound chauvinist, and I don't know your lifestyle so please forgive me. One 3rd element you might have as a woman is-are you going to do the family thing. So being in a position to meet who you want and pursue that kinda/sorta has to factor into a woman’s timeline. Ok I’m done. No more from me. Hopefully, some of these considerations were helpful and not an invasion. Again, thank you for how you helped me.

5:22 maybe the reason you were seeing those numbers was to let you know to accept the rejection because it was actually the best thing for you?
