Not everyone who hates homosexuality, is ignorant, it should be said; some just don't like it. I, for instance, don't like a certain kind of cheese... that doesn't mean that I'm ignorant - I just don't like it. I also don't like lesbians - I'm not "ignorant" of anything, I just don't like them... Me being part of the LGBT community, many people find this strange. Most people are homophobic because their God tells them that it's "wrong". I don't think there's any "educating" these people, they may eventually come to some kind of "understanding", and relax their stance. You're never going to get rid of hate. There are 7 billion people on this planet now, so, mathematically, things just can't add up. Marriage, to me, is an outdated, needless tradition. It's not nice being denied something because of whom you love, but, it shouldn't diminish your relationship in any way. Let the straight people have their silly "holy matrimony".

their is a difference between not liking something and hating something. Hate is a strong negativ emotion. Marriage is not only a cerimony with it come imortant rights like taxes, heritage, responsibility if tje partner is serious sick and in my country the right to adopt a child.

Marriage is, for the most part, entrapment... That's what I think when I hear, "You have to get married before you have children." In other words, we need to keep the two of you locked together, for the sake of the child. People of course enter it willingly, but this saying is testament to the nature of the contract. It's hard to get unmarried, so people just stick together... Entrapment.
