Situational awareness or presense of mind, quick physical reactions or reflexes, mental strength or toughness, composure or self-confidence, resourcefulness, the instinct or the will to fight back and defend yourself, knowing when to fight back or when to just run away as fast as you can, avoiding people places and situations that potentially lead to heated altercations or violent encounters, and your martial arts/fighting/self-defense skills and techniques (if you have any or some) which you have spent long periods of time practicing and training, can drastically increase your chances of successfully defending yourself in street fights and surviving other similar violent self-defense encounters. Speaking based on my personal experience as a self-defense practitioner.

Great vid as ever. Its the real thing in serouse trouble. Verry usefull if you can controle yourselve. But thats the most important thing. How do you concure the fear ? How to change the fear in anger? Even strong big people freeze when the opponent yelling and looks itimidating. Can you train " fear" in " I kill you". For me its" fear " until he hurt me just a little. Better to be angry before he hit you ( in my case).

Yes, this guy is better than most videos I've seen, he keeps it simple, but there's STILL just one thing I can see, he's actually cueing the guy to throw his punch, so he KNOWS when to raise his block. MY desire is to see how to defend oneself, AFTER you've been sucker-punched and knocked to the ground from behind.
@schoolofselfprotection

Yeah we stress test that in spontaneity training. This is just me explaining this in a seminar. Look at my stress test also on this channel. First we spin rounds until we have no idea what day it is. After that all attacks are possible..now you will find out what works or will disappear

What do you think about controlling armed arm with both of your arms (like hugging it, with putting your body weight into it), instead of reaching for shirt with one of your hands? When he was attacking with the right hand and you grabbed him, your belly was wide open and his left hand was not being used. What if when you blocked his right hand punch and went to knee him but before that he either punched you in the stomach or used his left hand elbow to block your knee. Also in case of a full blown street fight if I'm surrounded by 10-15 guys all attacking me at the same time, what is most effective way to protect myself and fight them at the same time with force enough to knockout some of them on the first hit so that the numbers lessen ??

@@schoolofselfprotection Hey How are you? Hope you are doing good 👍. I just have a video request. Can you please make a video on blocking punches especially the straight punch? A punch that comes straight directly to your nose or mouth and followed by another which most times is a hook. And how to block these type of punches in a street fight? Because blocking punches when the aggressor is throwing non stop intensely is hard. So would you mind covering this in your upcoming video. Thanks.

@@Ayyar13Sid that's what he has been showing you through out all his videos

It all starts with awareness and pre-threat recognition! Best self protection there is! You are on point with your comment.

Excellent. Street fighting is not pretty but has to be quick and decisive. No second chance.

Absolutely!
Very good
Yes, this guy is better than most videos I've seen, he keeps it simple, but there's STILL just one thing I can see, he's actually cueing the guy to throw his punch, so he KNOWS when to raise his block. MY desire is to see how to defend oneself, AFTER you've been sucker-punched and knocked to the ground from behind.

Yeah we stress test that in spontaneity training. This is just me explaining this in a seminar. Look at my stress test also on this channel. First we spin rounds until we have no idea what day it is. After that all attacks are possible..now you will find out what works or will disappear
I like this channel very much sir .The Dutch have a unique fighting style that is endemic to the Netherlands only , I guess . Bob Schrieber and Tommy End are all time favourites who got me hooked on to Dutch Fighting Style .Love from India 🙏

Hello, sir! I already asked you about Kalah once... What do you think about controlling armed arm with both of your arms (like hugging it, with putting your body weight into it), instead of reaching for shirt with one of your hands? Abolnik says that one arm control is too little, especially if agressor is very strong, sweaty etc. Thanks!
What type of martial is that?

When he was attacking with the right hand and you grabbed him, your belly was wide open and his left hand was not being used. What if when you blocked his right hand punch and went to knee him but before that he either punched you in the stomach or used his left hand elbow to block your knee. Also in case of a full blown street fight if I'm surrounded by 10-15 guys all attacking me at the same time, what is most effective way to protect myself and fight them at the same time with force enough to knockout some of them on the first hit so that the numbers lessen ??
Where did you get that groin protector equipment?
