Powerful and beaty

It took me a little bit to get into it, but now I (surprisingly) find myself listening to it on repeat 😄

Within 2-3 years they will fill arenas as much as Judas Priest and Metallica does today.

Not every rock cover of a pop song works, but this one absolutely does! The secret is don't tinker with the melody and tempo of a great tune (which it is, whether we want to admit it or not!), just rock it up, and that's exactly what this cover does. I'd have liked it a little heavier still, but I can't deny I really liked it - I had it on repeat five times. The guitar guitar solo is short but great. If you're a metalhead who begrudgingly liked the Madonna original, this is a must for your rock playlist. My score: Very Good 4*

@@DeafRat I just use You tube. I'm pretty technically deficit when it comes to technology and the internet. In reality, I hate this side of the Rockies and want to go back to the desert. Too much free flowing water and green around here for this desert rat! LOL I ain't going to bring up the snow and freezing winters. I have to say, I listened to your fallen angels song yesterday and it was musically more variable than most metal bands, very good song. Also, while trying to find the lyrics to your songs, I noticed people were saying that your end of the world album was almost joyful. I can honestly say I feel the same, as I watch evil dictatorships and evil governments crumble all around me. I will post a link to my poetry page below this. Sometimes links are turned off and reported as spam, but you can go into messages and comments on the video creater page on your youtube channel to approve them or block them.

I guess everyone has their own reason. For us, after Writing our own songs for 16 years, it was a lot of fun to take someone elses song apart and put it together with a complete different mindset. You ca learn a lot from doing that with any well written song, No matter what genre. Do You play music yourself? /Frankie

I couldn’t stand the original so I’m struggling to like this. Great Band though, first Album is one of my all time favourites, I play it over and over and never get sick of it.

It's heavier but somehow lost intensity compared to the original. I do like the guitar solo, but the drums right after are uninspired. Try harder I guess?!

@@DeafRat KZread more or less daily, and I buy cds and listen to those frequently especially when out and about (yeah, I know...weird to buy cds these days). Pandora or Amazon Music once in a blue moon. I am from Denmark but live in USA. Kudos for engaging with your audience! it's a shame you can't host your own music. AFM doesn't even have a playlist for you guys (afaik), so there is no way to find your music other than searching their catalog. And even if there was a playlist, as a consumer, you cannot subscribe to playlist only to a channel. This means I am forced to either wade through music I don't care about (and resulting down votes), or I end unsubscribing if signal to noise ratio drops below say 50%. Or hope KZread created a topic for you, and then your "other" stuff would be mixed in.

I like the style but somehow the arrangements and the vocals in this context don't work for me :(
