Deaf high school football player learning independence on the field
Kevi Hardin is a deaf teenager at Rock Hill High School who is developing some of the independence he'll need later in life as a hearing impaired adult in a hearing world. Sign language interpreter Angie Shafer has been crucial to his development.

Deaf is politically correct instead of using "hearing impaired." In the Deaf community that is viewed as offensive.
