Ryat and crush had a lot of dead time where there was nothing being done but obvious breathing so if we’re going off of round one there should have been more rounds.

I agree with everything except the part about the definition of a 1 Rounder. Because let’s say if DeadPrez was going so crazy that they just stopped the battle, then you’d still call it a 1 Rounder. You’re not completely wrong either because a 1 Rounder can still happen the way you described, but it’s not limited to just that.

Just because the crowd is feeling the energy of “the event” doesn’t mean just because Ryat & Crush got more hype that they won, skill in a battle determines winners and based on what was displayed it wasn’t a one round, revert back to both mess ups & dead time as I’ve mentioned before 🙏

Deadprez had great moments in the first round, it felt real and they were merging ideas together very well that brought them to that moment faster. Scripturez buck as usual too! As a rookie im learning a lot on this one. Praise Yahuah for this art form to be able to express and stay outta trouble!

This is not true all the time and not all non-US is guilty of that, but lets assume for a second that its true that US dancers aren't hyped all the time and that they should hype. You have then admitted the US (if your comment is a common sentiment) knows better when it comes to hype and didn't do better. I am unsure this creates a healthy environment. People are free to do and hype/not hype whoever but I don't know if this is the best move.

Don’t think that was 1 rounder. Crush mainly carried his team and he was trippin. Ryat didn’t do that much tho except in moments which where with crush. We‘ve seen him do way better recently Scripterz had a great first round that was underapreciated by all the lookey loos and they showed good chemistry aswell Feel like the crowd bias killed scripterz second round. There were still dope moments especially from noscript.
