I guess I don't understand how some reactors can show the whole video (and sound) and others like you can't? Please explain that to me. To be honest, if you can't show the whole video unedited, than what's the point?

Going from how terribly Deadpool was handled in Origins: Wolverine to how great the first Deadpool movie was and how Ryan Reynolds acknowledged it and did right by the fans and has treated this character with so much passion is my favorite storyline of all.

Deadpool and Wolverine fighting each other is just classic and hilarious as neither can die (per say).

About X-Men '97, I just jumped in. Didn't even watch a recap. I used to watch it when I was a kid but yeah don't remember much from the original and definitely didn't watch the finale I believe. Even with just going in blind, great freaking show.

People say you don't need to watch the old 90s X-men to injoy X-men 97 but knowing the old series does make the new series even better especially for OG fans.

That's a proper trailer. Makes you excited but doesn't give anything away.

Wolverine isn't often funny, but he does have his moments. He once called Daredevil the "biggest himbo that ever wore a pair of tights." He also refers to DD as "Tiny Dancer," so Logan isn't without his quips. He'll get his comedic shots in in this movie, but his primary role, as far as dialogue, is as the foil for Deadpool's insanity. He's the Colossus of this movie.

This looks exciting!! Getting to see Deadpool and Wolverine having a full interaction is cool since they talked a bit in the first Wolverine 2009 film

The destroyed Fox logo in the background while they're fighting was a nice touch.

You can watch X-men 97, I saw very little of this series when I was a child, and you still understand everything. In addition to the fact that the show itself puts you in the situation and what you need to know. There is a mini summary on the Marvel channel if you want to see it, there will surely be a better one on another channel.

There's a 2 minute recap released by the show (X-Men 97') to help you catch up for the roller coaster that is the show. So def recommend to show in the channel

GUYS PLEASE WATCH THE REST OF INVINCIBLE it's been more than a month since Part 2 came out

X-men 97 does a pretty good job at not requiring previous viewing, id recommend watching a recap for some context, but overall i don’t think its a requirement to watch the old show

Both the original X-Men TAS (92) and X-Men 97 are definitely worth the watch. Especially the latest bunch of episodes of 97 are absolutely insane.

I'd say watch: X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men 3 The Last Stand, X-Men First Class, The Wolverine, X-Men Days of Future Past, and Logan IN THAT ORDER. For more accurate time order First Class first and all of the rest in the same order. Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix and New Mutants are not worth it.

People compared X-Men 97 to Dragon Ball Z. You don't have to watch previous episodes to enjoy said series.

i watched xmen 97 without watching the xmen back in 90s and it does me just fine.

X- men 97 is one of the greatest things that’s happened to marvel in a long time.

I feel like I’m gonna cry tears of joy and sadness knowing that not only are we finally getting Deadpool and Wolverine together played by Ryan and Hugh (which I honestly never thought would happen), but also that I’m gonna have to say goodbye to Hugh as Wolverine again. I barely recovered from Logan.

The tva will be Marvel's new main plot devise now they have the rights back to characters the tva is the perfect way to bring everything to the mcu

you can absolutely just jump in to X-Men '97 not spoiling anything really there's the trailer for the series that gives you the catch up to now, just "this is a post Charles Xavier ultimate sacrifice narrative" And Go! it introduces characters in a good snappy digestible way that a new viewer like me could just perfectly lock into. It's gold you could watch it together; it is just quintessential X-Men comics, from the soap-opera-esque drama to how freely creative they get with stories, its a fun time and the fight choreo with it's animation is TOP tier- Highly reccomended!

Yes, please watch X-Men ‘97! I’ve never read the comics or watched the OG cartoons, but I really like the show. You don’t NEED to know the history, but it obviously helps. I watch those Easter egg breakdown videos to fill in the gaps 😊

As a kid that's a huge fan of the X-Men original cartoon. They have a recap video that you can watch and catch up a bit. It does continue and pull some stuff from the original, but you don't HAVE to watch the original series to enjoy X-Men 97. But this is phenominal!!!!! You'll love this series.

LFG!!! Honestly to answer your question about X-Men 97: I just jumped into it without rewatching the original series, but I feel like I should have rewatched the original bc I hadn't watched it since I was a kid/teenager.

You can tell that they are really holding back on the footage shown. I predict this movie will make a lot of changes to the MCU. As far as Xmen 97 goes, I say watch the key episodes of the OG Series, I'm sure there's a list, and then watch Xmen 97, so you can get familiar with the character arcs. For sure watch the final episode, so you can understand where it picks up. So far, Xmen 97 has been REALLY good.

You could always just look up a recommended list to watch before starting X-Men '97 but it isn't important i would say. I watched all of the original X-Men TAS and have the whole series on DVD but i dove straight in to watch X-Men '97 and it has not disappointed so far as it's like being a kid again but now the show airs on Wednesdays and not Saturday mornings.

X-men 97 is a revival of the original show it picks up right where the original ended so I would recommend watching the original first but not completely necessary

Well, they do some references to what happend in The Animated Series in X-Men 97' & it starts with where The Animated Series ended. So yeah, you might wanna rewatch X-Men TAS before watching X-Men 97'. Me personally I didn't rewatch TAS, but I do remember some pieces & episodes, & I especially remembered the ending. But I had no problem when getting into X-Men 97' & so far it's a great continuation & a great show 🙂

You are probably good with a re-cap. Honestly, I tried to watch some of them on my TV recently. The quality of the last few seasons is a little painful. I'd say either watch a few highlights or do the re-cap, then jump into 97.

Watch a recap of X-Men animation and watch that 97 you won't regret it! Cassandra Nova my good sir is Xaviers twin and the story is true. They'll probably change it and make her a variant.

You can watch a recap of the old X-Men show. There's several videos on YT that will break down what's important to know going into the X-Men 97 that are done in under 15 minutes.
