I can't believe that unmasked marvel select deadpool is going for so much. Back when that figure first came out, I saw that thing everywhere but alas, I chose unwisely and picked the masked version. Yes Glenn! You reviewed THE "Deadpool" figure! Really thought you would have skipped it out of spite lmao XD

I was new to figure collector back in 2011 and remember passing on the variant Select Deadpool in a comic shop. At the time it was $21.99.

Sweet Evolution episode Glenn! How tall is the Marvel Select Deadpool? I've heard he's taller than the usual Select figures.

nice reviews of the pool. i hope figma will do a good job of making it and hopefully this year.

I never liked the Hasbro deadpool of the two pack, that it's not the bullseye bodymold, it's pretty similar, but lack of details and more blocky, but I am so happy that we are going to be having a new version with the bucky cap mold. Great series Glenn!

since Diamond select usually does movie versions of the characters too, they might make a movie deadpool, which will probably be a step up from their original deadpool figure as the costume is almost perfect deadpool costume and that it will give them a chance to make a better deadpool, i just can't wait

I kind of want the DST Marvel Select Deadpool figure, if anything else than just for his arsenal of accessories. An arsenal ,mind you, Hasbro has pretty much let slip won't be coming with their new Marvel Now Deadpool figure, which will only come with a cartoony green bazuka with a removable boxing glove attachment.

Thank god I waited out getting a legends deadpool. Like I always thought Hasbro's use of the Bullseye body was 'okay' but after getting my hands on the Original Bullseye and going through several more characters who reused the body...man what happened. Everything just felt 'blocky' on the newer ones.

+Shin27E I think it's because Bullseye came with that rubber collar, belt and the pouches, they hid some of the ugliness of that body mold.

+Something2day You got a point actually. Looking at it again, the thighs and kneecaps on bullseye are still pretty horrid, stuff like the collar actually does help hide the narrow chest/butterfly joint too. I think mold degradation played into it as well. The musculature on the Hasbro reuse is a lot less natural than bullseye/toybiz's; everything's more squared off as opposed to being rounded off.

Shin27E I think the blue dry bush makes Bullseye's body look more natural too, highlighting the muscles which makes the figure look less blocky, also the higher quality plastic Toybiz used, compared to Hasbro's gummy plastic, may have also played a role in making the figure look nicer. I think you're spot about the mold degradation too.

Hi Glenn, I loved this video. Not to be a jerk, but the variant Warpath was actually how he looked during Ed Brubaker's X-Men run. Warpath in the 90's X-Force had a big old Eagle symbol on his chest. Otherwise, great stuff!
