In the comics, Negasonic Teenage Warhead is actually a telepath and precognitive mutant. Her abilities were changed for the film due to the fact that the writers thought that by having explosive powers, it would fit more with her name.

She also says she thinks it's stupid to have a name that gives away what your power set is to your opponent, which is a pretty valid point. Her powers are precognitive, but they detect disasters and dangers more strongly (even more so if they're going to effect her), so she's constantly bombarded with images of horror, death, and disaster. She's remarkably non-suicidal, considering.

Never played any of the Black Ops games - only 2 (during WWII) and 4 (the 1st MW); Colossus sounds a little like the guy who says that they have do grenade training with potatoes instead of real grenades.

Imagine a stoic and wise X-men taking you on a trainee mission, and you run into this guy. That girl is a pro for keeping a straight face. Both the character and the actor.

"You got me in a box here" is the coolest line in any movie ever. I don't care if you agree. I don't even care if it's true. That line rocks my world. I just played it about ten times.

I love the tossed word salad Deadpool used in this movie. Being the "Merc with a mouth" really fits him here. And a friend of mine explained how Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the comic just had telekinesis and died a few issues after being introduced. So cool name for a pretty standard mutant. I'm betting they saw the name, found out how lame the character was and rebuilt her from the ground up using the name as the foundation. And probably thinking "What would be a funny personality for Deadpool to bump against?"

I love how patient and calm Colossus is in the face of Deadpool's nonsense 😂 "Chrome plated c*** gobbler!" "Dat's not nice"

"That guy was already here when I got here!" Technically true since he was thrown out of the rolling car Deadpool was in and the car got there a few seconds later.

When he said "Zip it, Sinead", there were only 2 of us in the whole crowded theater who laughed out loud which also made me sad because that meant only 2 of us were old enough to remember Sinead O'Connor.

uhh you sure. I mean I would probably be sleeping with like 20 women every night but I dont think I would kill people and destroy that much infilstructure. And whats more is that if I were able to benefit society in profound positive ways via my powers I would probably do that too, like if my heat vision somehow violated the first law of thermodynamics and I could solve the fucking energy crisis forever. Like if I was superman and was competent enough to use my powers without breaking shit, we would probably be in this futuristic tech society. All I would have to do is just listen to what they people who dream up the crazy hypothetical shit that going billions of times faster than the speed of light and what not would entail tell me to do.

I just feel that Colossus would be the PERFECT babysitter. He is gentle. Good manners. And he would be able to keep kids safe. I like him.

I love how later in the film she pokes fun at Deadpool for his outdated references, yet she was named after a song from 1995 which was aping the brontosaurus Rock styles of the 1970s!

Fun fact: Negasonic Teenage Warhead was created in honor of a Monster Magnet song from the Dopes To Infinity album.

"You've got me in a box, here." The fact that Negasonic is humble enough to admit she's a stereotype is what makes you fall in love with her. She's broody and irritating, but she doesn't give that, "I"LL DIE BEFORE I LET YOU IN!" vibe. She's a rebel, but when Deadpool sees right through her she takes the L with grace.

Ryan is just out of this world, he didn't just play this role, he was born for it

He feels such accomplishment at shutting down a teenaged girl and I completely understand why.

Ever since I saw Brianna Hildebrand in Lucifer, I always wondered what a sort of crossover be like if Lucifer shows up in Deadpool and be like "what did you say to my daughter?" lol

It would be nice to see her come back in the deadpool and/or xmen movies. Luv the actress. She has the chops for the role. Obviously.
