you should check out Alessandro Cortini, the synthesist that helped with many Nine Inch Nails records... this ambient track of deadmau5's sounds like some ambient songs i heard alesandro cortini play at The Works in Detroit at a Movement afterparty. Wildly different than a lot of other techno i saw at Movement

You gotta understand though, this is a rip from him. It isn't like he is the one putting this out like a dummy track or a WIP and when you are working on a project it is all in pieces. Endings aren't produced usually until ....the end

We need to download this just in case that the video be deleted. Believe me, I've experienced in many situations that a song or mix in YT is the only one uploaded in the platform and then it's suddenly deleted. We wouldn't like that this happens with this masterpiece.

Nope. These are hard synths. It's the past. Today most artists just use soft synths or VSTs.

I still to this day find new pieces of this legends work, it's sad to see all comments about song not being finished...It's awesome that we even have this

Funny you should mention that, I'm a huge fan of theirs. Also would not be super surprising there's some influence there, he is a bit envious of Trent and his film scoring work. Joel also already did some remixes of Trent's songs.

Maarten Canters it was hacked together based on some messing around in the studio during a livestream that he did. He didn't actually play enough sound to produce a full song from it. I managed to scrap this together with what was available.
