Absolutely amazing to be able to tie the Pig Boy stories to these people. They were real and so, the Pig Boy is real, at least in my mind. Incredibly scary and deep down eerie as the mystery of time can make such things. The story that you read, Robert, also amazing and the style of writing back in the day takes on a poetic kind of lull. It only adds to the story with a great deal of reality - much unlike the sensationalism of today, which garners disbelief. So enjoyed this tale and all the stories and the sites to put it all together! Having this kind of detail is amazing! (Yes! amazing again!} The music and the black and white, to bleed color, excellent effects for this! Loved it, Robert! I can't wait for part 3!! (I think I heard the name Seaborn as Dan read the markers - isn't the man who built Aaron's log house named Seaborn? If so, I wonder if there is any connection?) 😮😳😲👍👍❣❣❣

Very thought provoking story. Being as the people there seemed to be honest and hardworking, I don't think this was a tall tale...and in keeping with some things that are coming to light now, it may be entirely possible all was true. Hybrid creatures are possible as well as clones, which have been hushed up. What a frightening experience for all involved, bless their hearts. They wrote it all down and they wanted it remembered for some reason. This earthly realm is more than we know. Love from Ky🤔🤨

After "PIG BOY"this "BOAR HOG" incident is something unbelievable but would have surely terrorised the natives. What a Narration
Oink, oink! 🐖 Loved the video!
Love your videos and enjoy watching them every time they come on. May the Lord bless and protect you and Dan bring the past history of Georgia
Robert, this is so amazing. Thank you for doing this. The time you spend researching, documenting, filming, processing, editing, etc is greatly appreciated, and the content is now available for future generations. So important to be done. Thank you with great admiration and respect.
I hope you guys get back to exploring cemeteries. I really enjoyed those. 👍

Well a good half of this video was exploring cemeteries… so I don’t think we need to get back to it… we still are 😅🤣
Love hearing this story
Love Halloween adventures 😂

Fascinating. Thank you. ♥️✌🏽
Great reading and story. Certainly odd with so many witnesses.
I love hearing Dan's stories.
Quite the interesting stories and history of the pig boy and the families surrounding the pig boy. I sure would not hang out around that area even to this day. Scares the daylights out of me.
THANK YOU
Fascinating history Robert.. can’t wait to see what happens after dark, but take care out there! It’s good to see the graves of the people involved. You and Dan were brave for going out there. Especially with the rustling of leaves in the underbrush..😱👍🏻😂
I'm not sure if Dan remembers me. It's been twenty years. Bertha Sinclair Ingram is (was) my aunt. Her brother, George L. Sinclair, is my great-grandfather. It's great to hear these stories. Great channel Robert. Give my regards to Dan.

Yes I do remember you, Sid! I really miss seeing so many folks I grew up around like Miss Daisy, Margie, Jane, Georgie, Martha, Paul, Blue & Pauline, Brownie and everyone who used to stop in at Miss Bertha’s.

@@danthevictrolaman9830 They were a fun bunch for sure. A lot of memories. We still have Sinclair reunions every few years. I do get to see many of the children and grandchildren of the folks you listed. We are all getting old now! 😄 Love seeing you and hearing these stories on Robert's channel.
All the vids are great but boy was this one a great one!!!!! Love Mr Dan and his stories, I eat this kind of thing up!!! Hi and thank you Mr Dan and Robert...cant wait for the next continued video. Oh, can you grab that old brick up and place in your "museum" about the town..I sure would hate for it to get lost.

@@AdventuresIntoHistory lets hope it never disappears..some would just see a brick unlike Mr Dan did. 😊
So interesting
Great stuff. Loved the switch to black and white when you started telling the story. As someone else said, Dan definitely has a plethora of knowledge about local history. Wait. He has a plethora of of knowledge and he asked if he was that old. Wouldn't that make him a Plethasaurus?
you two just keep on with the spooky tales!
You guys sure are jumpy lol I love the story and being in the place where it actually happened was amazing
I went to Andrew college in Cuthbert . When I pledge frat there they took us on road trip to a cemetery up by Columbus in middle of night and dropped us off and warned us about the Pigman in 1976
Cool story.
Love learning the history from Dan, Great amount of knowledge
you never know the story has got a few witnesses it's like were I live there is a few spooky stories about the ghost hound of garndiffaith which always appear on top road looking for is master and there's a pub also got ghost a boy and a woman the Hanbury Arms goes back to early 1700 s all the best Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧 to you Dan
There's a chance that the McGehee's are related to my family from Alabama. Very interesting story.
Extremely interesting video! You guys never disappoint!
Thoroughly enjoyed this! Very well done. Thank you for sharing this!
I love this story. My Mother was an Ingram and her people came up from the south and settled in Iowa and Indiana. She and my dad are listed at the end of Sidestep videos.
Don"t you wish you could step back in time just to see how it looked? So interesting. Thanks so much. .
Loved the retelling of pig boy article! That was really cool!
Give anything to have Dans memory. I was just telling my husband how informant he is about the history of everything and everyone. I can't tell you what happened yesterday. I love history as this. My grandmother was from Kentucky she would sit and tell so many stories sometimes over and over. You know to this day I wished I would had asked more questions because I am interested in her side of family. Love listening to Dan📚🌍💕
Must be Halloween time again!
Loved this video, so very interesting, love Dan he tells the stories and explains the history so well.Thank you Dan and Robert
Man, I have a problem remembering my own name. Good show.
You guys are the bomb. Preserving local history and sharing knowledge should be mandatory study for our youth. GodBless and keep on tracking.
I love listening to Mr Dan telling stories
I believe Andy Griffith was from MTN. Airy 💕
Another amazing video. Dan is just fantastic. What sort of work did Dan do in his younger days? Love from Australia. Love you all. Xx
Excellent presentation, Robert! The black and white images really helped to ring the story home! Cheers, Dick from Vancouver.
I still feel that there was a civil war veteran, disfigured physically & mentally by all he endured during the war, that was responsible for all those events. Wouldn't I love to know what happened to him.

I don’t know when it happened but sure sounds like a burn victim to me. The scar tissue would get some relief from the water and mud. I’m sure the man would have certainly been banned if not by neighbors, by knowing how disfigured he was. Sad really.
Dan is amazing to know all those connections of families.
I like it when you read to us!! I was just imagining as we went!
Another great video
Thanks for tracking down the witnesses. Love this.
Sharing with Channel Host of *"Dixie Cryptid"* (Cam is a stellar Narrator and Storyteller that is from Memphis, currently residing in NW Mississippi. A genuine "God Guy", he would be at home in the mix of you GA fellas.) *Recommended Listen/Watch.* Excellent Reading and History. Dan and Robert are awesome at finding Interesting content.
I have enjoyed this so very much and I will like to say thank you God bless you both 🙏❤️
It always amazes me how knowledgeable Dan is about that area. He knows all these dates and relationships to the families. I love to listen to him talk. He has the most soothing Southern accent. Mine is more of the southern Appalachians.
I love listening to Dan, he knows his state history, please keep him on your videos
I love the backstories of the people and places! It's like sitting around the table with my aunts and uncles and hearing their stories and memories!
Excellent!
what lovely people the man is so informed, if i was younger he would be a great asset to have
Fact or fiction pig boy is a great story. Thank you so much for this wonderful history lesson. My mothers paternal grandfather was a Brannon. No one really knew much about his background other than he was a confederate veteran. Looking at the names on the Brannon headstone makes me wonder how far one’s ancestors may have traveled to settle in different areas. Bless you and may you bring those of us who love history many more wonderful stories.
Very interesting information. Yous are very well informed. Very interesting. Just happen to come across the two of you. I am a small town in Ontario Canada. Just across the boarder. I have watch 3 of your video . Thank you.
There will be a part 3 great!
I would love to be able to tag along with you 2 while you do this stuff , great job
I wish that Dan had said more about the Newberrys. I am trying to trace my Newberry family history. I know they were in Tennessee and Mississippi but don't know if they were in Georgia also. But I could listen all day to Dan telling about all the history he knows about the area he lives in. He is so very interesting.
I rewatched the video, it sounded like someone either wadding in the water or heavy breathing. Hard tell

My fave videos are the cemetery visits. History on the stone.
Dan is such a blessing full of knowledge
Fascinating.
Hey Robert that sounded like a growl! Careful out there ☺️
💜💜💜
I hope all of this wondrous knowledge that Dan has is written history as well. It is amazing what he knows and remembers 😊
Crunchy leaves🍂🍁🍃🧡
I just love Dan. Where would we be without him?
