There's a bunch of dead Space easter eggs in battlefield Hardline, there's one in the campaign where a guard is playing dead space (the ones i'm Gonna mention ahead are multiplayer exclusive) there's a secret reload for the AK where your character uses kinesis to Grab a magazine, there's some marker statues, a store called Ishimura and mannequins with the engineering RIG suit helmets( I dunno where the multiplayer ones are since I only played the campaign but I saw those on KZread)

Do we know if there is any special relevance to the stuffed animals in the safe rooms? it seems like they should be used for something, or at the very least putting a baby doll next to all the stuffed animals would trigger a special event...

I really love the small details in this game. For instance in the secret ending Nichole's rig doesn't light up in back. Giving us a nice visual that she is not alive.

One of the coolest Easter eggs that I never noticed before until about my 4th playthrough was when you leave the Ishimura to go to Aegis VII, the light up sign that says “USG ISHIMURA” in the Hangar Bay now says “US IS U”. I thought that was really cool.

Fun fact: "Twinkle Twinkle" is used as a symbolic way to torment Isaac throughout the series. He and Nicole wanted to have children after she was done on the Ishimura.

I was playing this way too late at night and I genuinely thought I was hallucinating the crab.

I like the Gabe Weller reference I hope they remake dead space 2 and add his dlc

I loved the sea shanty. Also, I wonder if the secret ending is the "true" ending? The way Isaac behaves in the last scene, despite knowing that Nicole is dead, shows just how badly enthralled by the Marker he is. If they remake DS2, I want to see a less lucid Isaac, with his hallucinations being more benign but more manipulative as well.

The alternative ending is canon, because when EarthGov found him, he was absolutely batshit insane. The only reason Isaac is lucid for a lot of dead space 2 is due to the drugs he was on to keep the dementia at bay, but as the game progresses, the more his dementia returns.

I found one Easter egg that was from Alisa Vincent that sent a message to Gabe Weller about the rookie from dead space extraction

You missed one, when you beat the game on the hardest difficulty you get access to the Foam Finger, the most powerful weapon in game.

Yeah i agree, they should have mentioned the fact that if you beat the game on impossible difficulty, you can get the foam finger, the most powerful weapon in the game

Impossible wasn't really that hard tbh Just be vigilant and carry extra healing items in case shit goes sideways 😂

In Flight Control. Before you leave the Ishimura. I Think there is a Code on the Wall. Hand, Foot, over the Marker symbol and then a Wave Symbole. Tried every Weapon but nothing happend.

And it was a little Nod to dead space extraction with the characters names.

The tram has 42 written behind the don't waste space sign, i assume it's a reference to hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.

Your watermark sometimes covers up your notes at the bottom of the screen. Makes it harder to read. Might want to rethink your placement of one of the two. Cool video though, man. Thanks.

There be 2 babies that I found one when you return to the entrance and one in a sleeping cube in crew quarters

There are more scattered throughout the levels, for example there is one in the tram tunnel where you pick up the stasis tool.

There is a crab Easter egg in Battlefield V, Penguins are also in battlefield 2042, there is also a dinosaur easter egg in battlefield 4🦖

I saw it but can't remember exactly. It's in one of those tiny storage type rooms on a shelf.

I think a good Easter egg was if you finished the new game modes, your game would be called Dead Space Remake: Remake

What those toys do

I thought the doll was the reason for the outbreak

I for one like the punisher looking mask on the NG+ rig, I consider it proof that the macho man trend never died in the future’s armed forces, along with the associated police brutality. The fact that it’s a standard uniform suggests that dead space is somehow more dystopian than now, and at least it ain’t boring!

Schofield tools might be a reference to Prison Break where the main character, Michael Scofield, is an engineer.
