This should be the character's definitive theme. Rythmic, energetic and exciting tune with some small touches of sadness in its melody...perfectly represents Kasumi's personality and what she's gone through. Amazing.

Fun Fact: this game marks the 15th anniversary of the franchise and also marks the second time the characters spoke English,first time was in Dead Or Alive 2: Hard Core

DOA5 is the third time. Its also the first time Naotora Ii speaks English since SW4 was never dubbed unlike the previous Samurai Warriors games.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 although a side game and is only composed of the female cast was the 2nd time the series has had a English dub. This would be the 3rd time, DOA5 being the 4th time and DOA6 being the 5th time.

I've been playing DOA since the first game on the Saturn. I own all the games and play it almost daily. DOA 2 the Japanese special edition for Dreamcast and Dimensions are by far my favourite games in the series. Dimensions for me is the most fun and takes all the best bits of the earlier games and puts them into one awesome package. Mix that with stereoscopic 3D and jiggle physics and you've got the ultimate DOA! XD Can't wait for number 5!!

Chronicle mode IS the story mode in that game. They've been going against DOA tradition ever since Tomonobu Itagaki left Team Ninja.

I think Hayabusa is way to badass and gritty for Dead or Alive. I mean, look at Ninja Gaiden. If I was Raidou or Genra I would've shit my pants knowing this dude was after me

When you start the first fight again Hayane : -Kasumi join the battle -Hayane join the battle -Gunship join the battle ...WTF ?

no lie i like this theme its nice even though kasumi is not one of my top tow fav characters ayane #1 lei-fang #2 kasumi guess #3..... love DOA

although i wish they would remix each and every 4 (1 if theres only 1) of the character themes and play them at random.

ill say the same thing i said when i compared kasumi's theme in doa2 to ayane's theme in doa2. kasumi theme just does not have the kick ass beat that ayane's has.

Are all you guys new to DOA or something? Dimensions is the worst DOA out of the entire series. Understandable since it's the first one on a handheld, but the console versions are superior in multiple ways. That being said, it's probably still the best handheld fighter to date. And, this song is awesome xD

lol tradition? every fighting game has been going against it. Tekken 6 you played as anyone but it centered around Lars. Soul Calibur 5 fucked it up with the Alexandra siblings only having a 1 hour story. idk bout the others...

@GAF1987 Agreed DOA Dimensions is 10x better. I'm both fan of the series, but unfortunately Tekken prime is a pitiful game it lacks mode so it gets boring fast.

At least DOA Dimensions has the least of the jiggling glands. DOA X2 was the worst in the series until you start gambling. It is similar to GTA's gambling but you have to see this suggestive poledance from some character. The characters were most detailed in DOA Dimensions and were least suggestive
