Unfortunately, it looks like the South Fellini store is no longer here at the Fashion District Mall. According to their website, they have a store with only Saturday pickup hours on Passyunk and seem to mostly be conducting business online. The shirts they are designing are funny AF!!! Good vibes for success to a local business!!!

The first Mannequin film was filmed in numerous locations- one of them being the Boscov's store in Camp Hill, PA where my mother used to work. She had just started working there prior to filming, but I don't think she was actually on her shift when the crew was on-site. Oddly enough, the outside of the store looks exactly the same as it did back in 1987-- easily recognizable with the trees with strands of white lights on them at the front of the store!

Since I’m gonna be living in Kentucky soon, I’ll be a lot closer to Pennsylvania than I was before. I definitely want to go to check out everything there as Ive never been there before. This place will definitely be a stop for me, especially to get some awesome stickers and pins as I kinda collect them.

There's six on display. More than six were created for the art department and used in the film.

I’ve said before, being in the Mannequin Biz-this wasn’t one of the six Mannequins made for the movie. After a custom face is made there is a cooperative agreement after so much time-the face is added to face selection-any head can be put on any body. I’ll bet I’ve refurbished a dozen “Kim’s” over the years for Department Stores and Clothing Chains across the South. Being a Mannequin Historian & appraiser, so-there you have it! Still a great Mannequin, just not one of these from the movie

Actually the South Fellini mannequin was sculpted by Tanya Wolf Ragir and was part of the movie Mannequin. Check out the article on Jezebel.
