This game is awesome. It has amazing gameplay and graphics but the cutscenes are terrible 😂 Hardly any facial expressions and half the time the words don’t even match with their mouths. But that’s the only bad thing about the game. Everything else is incredible

We wouldn’t have Dying Light if Techland didn’t make this game first.

This was one of the few games I just quit halfway through and was done with it. I couldn't take the tediousness anymore. Every quest was some side tracked bullshit The quest at 27:25 is what started to break me. Go from Point A to Point B to get C, but at B, something stops you and you can't continue until you collect D, E and F which are all over the damn place. Then you go back to B after collecting D, E and F, and then you can get C. But when you go back to A, they're like "Oh they moved! Now they're at G!" so you have to run over to get to G now but then there's some MORE bullshit. I could have just shot Hadisi and no one would have cared. Hell, Batram inside even threatens you. I could have just shot all of them and no one would have cared! And then not long after you had to do the quest for Dr. Kessler there at 36:20 where you had to collect more shit and that quest I never finished. I was done, I was like "This is just a ton of unnecessary fetch quests!" and it was so boring. Quit the game. Returned it to GameStop.

Yea, its beacuse deep silver is greedy company that wanted the game to come out ASAP, so techland took shortcuts i guess, thats why they also stopped working for deep silver and made dying light which is better

Same. Dead Island starts as a great experience, but halfway you just can't really enjoy anything anymore cause... Well, there is nothing to enjoy at all. Truly a shame, really felt potential in it :/

The eyes in this game.

This game is funny as shit. I bet you guys were cracking up nonstop playing and editing.

It's funny how the enemies have unlimited ammo during the shootout, but after you loot them they have like 2 bullets.

The whole cutscene where Marcus attacks you was skipped

Wtf was that final boss I almost switched the game off it was laughable

The folks that were left behind in Henderson were killed, as seen from 1:45:52 , zombies destroyed a door and got inside Cecil's makeshift hospital, and the front door of Jacqueline Phantom's cinema theater was demolished by the ram. I suppose zombies overran and killed other people in other settlements too. From the looks of final cutscene, it seems that main protagonists turned into special infected, but there is no confirmation on what really happened to them.

Honestly I would’ve picked John, cuz as I remember he has this ability which makes kicking way more powerful (like you can run and kick) And also I think he’s a bad ass, and it’s fun rewatching this game that I’ve played a long time ago, it just brings back the memories of pretty much guns blazing on zombies and beheading them with your sick ass katana

Lol johny is buffed cuz his health and stamina is way too much along with the skill allow you to gain 15% health from crit hit while he has a huge chance of crit among the skills

Like Dying Light the following, Dead Island end mysterious is the main characters alive? We don't know it will have Dead Island 2, but we know there is a demo of Dying Light 2. In the demo we are not Kyle Crane Maybe Kyle Crane is dead in the end of Dying Light the following you kill the mother and take the "cure" but you turned into volatile and the game end. In dead island when the ship hit the docks there was no one on it. The two games end like this the main characters turn in zombies and go on another island or city in the case of Dying Light and maybe in Dying Light 2 and Dead Island 2 we will be survivor from the new pleague.

Most of the game missions are either carrying shit or defence or fetch quest but it's still better than left for dead but dying light takes the cake most of the survives look the same with the same clothes and dame they killed sam hordy it made me cry a little the gun and weapons are op as shit and when your max level your a god in this game is it just me or some people don't blink in the cutsence

It is weird that there were no blood on the boat but there zombie inside and they were all dead now so this happened

Game was fun but it always killed how they would cast voice actors with the wrong race. Why the fuck does Mugambe has a white voice actor lmao? 42:40-42:51 or back in dead island 1 when you first meet Joseph he black with a southern white guy accent. The second time you meet him his whole skin tone changed lol.

I disagree too. Logan and Sam B sure. Logan is an ahole and Sam B is a walking talking caricature. I felt sorry for the guys who wanted to play as men but I think adding John Morgan made for at least one good male character. Sam B was way better in the dead island novel. Purna and Xian Mei are fine characters. So 3/5 for Riptide. It's a shame that neither of the girls are true to their character art.
