I actually dig the new Eldritch approach. The old "undead feasting on humans" thing gets repetitive honestly. They can go crazy with this new take rather than just having a zombie virus infecting people, turning into zombies, & just killing/eating folks we've had seen too many times before.🤔

The soundtrack music for the final moments of the game is amazing, so those four words are a reference for dead island, this is a good dlc.

It’s not even a virus. It’s a gen code hidden in every person on the planet, WHICH is his triggered by virus. (Kind of) I forgot how the virus outbreak started in the first place. Maybe possibly virus is just one of the metaphorical “switches” for the autophage to start. (Even though it’s kind of stupid in my opinion, they could’ve just make us new adventures in new locations and that would work better than this sci-fi bs I guess)

Maybe you figured it out already, but in case you haven’t... What is your level in the game? I watched someone else's playthrough as well and their Jacob was kinda low-level, which led to the game forcing several breaks in. (As in "Continue to level up elsewhere, before you may continue this SoLA-quest line") One of those was at the exact spot, you seem to have trouble with. I'm not sure, if this is the issue at hand, since I could play through the DLC with my max-lvl Bruno without interruptions, but coming upon your comment, I thought this might be a helpful explanation. If that's not it, then I'm sorry, because I don't know any other helpful solution. But maybe you could contact DI2-support. I did once for an annoying bug and they were quite helpful. So as a last resort that's an option. I hope you can figure it out. Good luck! And happy slaying, haha.

​@TwoFac3900 Hmm, then it should work. The Jacob-player could continue the SoLA-story after reaching level 22, which means you should be good with level 23. 😔 Then I don’t have any other ideas. Sorry, I couldn't really help in the end. Hopefully the DI2-support can solve your problem. Good luck!

You have to purchase it but the expansion pass is constantly on sale, I think I paid only 10 bucks for it which is a good deal for 2 dlc

The final boss in Sola is tough, and not fair. Enemy spam attacks at the end all but one-shot you, plus with little heals to use you’re screwed. Souls games have bosses that are more fair than this garbage boss. Also, the higher level enemies are bullet sponge; I really liked this game but it’s trash. If you play multiplayer the enemies are even more of a sponge.

Final boss scene was trash, got cornered and killed every time so I rage quit and uninstalled. Not even fun anymore. Came here for the final cutscene so I can move on.

Why i've even curious 😑?main campaign was garbage,gameplay is boring and the zombies tankier than ever at higher levels,the protagonist can't stop talking to himself like a stupid for some reason,maybe to prevent zoomers get bored or don't know what to do and this plot is even worst than the main game,is really that hard to make a fun zombie game whit a decent plot even if it is like the "classic" kind?the first dead island was fine,goofy but fine,or dying light 1,that was fine too,why this sequel is that freaking bad?i don't understand how the developers have jobs delivering this kind of trash😑,i wouldn't play this even for free
