1:03:35 Okay hold on. You have to play Risk of Rain as soon as possible. Start with Risk of Rain 2. They can be played independently with no issue. Just trust me. It's my second favorite game ever behind Dead Cells.

RoR 2 is very interesting because whereas Dead Cells limits your buildcrafting and tools and provides you with fair combat, but RoR 2 just throws bs at you and gives you equal amounts of bs to fight it with. It's interesting game design and ends up being very fun

Point on magic missiles: use it with king scepter. The bounce you get with the scepter gives you can be preserved with any item that has hangtime (same goes for the second attack with spiked boots and the pure nail's pogo) to give you insane vertical height. Magic missiles has the most hangtime in the game and can continuously attack enemies while you're airborne.

Thank you, that means a lot! I'm putting up a Shields tier list later this week and then am going to work on a few other ones, so there will be vids for powers and mutations sometime in the next month or two.

Well well, talk about a timing ! Started to play Dead cells a bit more this week, had a hard time getting past BC2, then cruised BC3 BC4 no issues in a day. I'll have to try more weapons than the explosive crossbow. I just love the gameplay of this weapon. Thanks for this list.

Explosive crossbow carried me through bc2. Easily my favorite weapon, especially comboed with armadillopack full survival

Repeater crossbow with barbed tips for me from 0bc to completing 5 bc. I think you should give it another go, the amount of arrows it shoots out with barbed tips and the fact that you can root every enemy in a biome so you never have to worry abt getting his is wayyyy too overpowered. And all bosses are susptable to wolf traps. Great vid tho, definitely inspired me to try new builds!

Ice Crossbow is hands down my favorite weapon in the game, and if it wasn't bad against bosses (especially the giant who has ice damage resistance) I would just do full runs with it. When I see +175% damage against frozen targets on the rail blast, I pog out of the stratosphere.

Hey, sorry for the late reply! Yeah, Ice Crossbow can be a real banger. When the charged shot gets the "freezes nearby enemies" affix it's time to party.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who loves the Yumi so much XD It's definitely the most fun weapon in the game for me, even though it's not good for bosses.

The most disgustingly powerful I've been is with a V-L killing deck with leave a train of flames and 20% damage. The entire game melted in front of me.

Big fan of boomerang/cross combo. The good one two punch for a mix of clear and boss killing. Boomerang has that more reliable first hit damage, and the just right zone for the cross melts things.

Are you going to do a skills video too? New to this game and loving it! Just finished my first full run last night!

In my opinion, all of the crossbows are pretty much insane compared to other weapons, which is great. Weapons with 2 space slots should be very strong and crossbows never disappoint. Running ice crossbow with frost bite and ice damage affixes pretty much solo the runs. The worst range weapon has to be magic bow. By itself the bow is WAY too slow to be used, any bat, rat, and fast enemies completely destroys you and the affixes are terrible

I think that's a skill issue because it does really great damage especially because it has the effect that every arrow after the first deals additional damage based on how many arrows have hit the target already, so it can do some really good damage. That's why if you pair it with either another weapon like boomerang, ice shards, or boys axe, or a shield, or play owl in order to deal with all those annoying rats and birds. But magic bow can be really powerful with the right skills and mutations

I love fire blast with electrodynamics because it’s easy to get oil. Get bonus to electricity and point blank and you’ll melt everything. Oh and add ice shards in the secondary slot for double crits

I've only beat the game once, it was with the baseball bat and a brutality build. I have been trying to beat the game with a tactics build, and I used the firebrands and throwable objects(a cleaver looking shape?) I got all the way to caverns, but man is caverns tough! I went through the prison, beat conjunctivitis. Went through the ancient sewers, the build actually worked really well with corrupted power and light speed, throw a couple firebrands and one throwing knife would kill most creatures, until caverns. I should have gone forgotten sepulcher probably, but I do NOT like that biome one bit. Also I want Ice armor which means killing the giant bears. I am still on 0 BC until I beat it with each of the three class builds, but struggling with tactics right now. That build was super fun and different though.

Congrats on beating 0BC! Great idea to finish a run with each color/class before moving on to 1BC. Cavern is a big difficulty spike but hopefully you can make it through. Ice Armor is worth the trip.

Part 2 ! Fireblast. The very fast crit is great for something like instinct of masters of arms . So you can spam skills with it despite being more static . Awww Pyro is cool . Very fun to use it as hold to attack with another weapon . Also the last hit is funny because of endlag stagger . And since the crit is fairly quick , same thing with fireblast. , but with more mobility advantage ! Like part 1 : ice shards and boomerang networking 😝 Shoutout to ViralMelon for showing Wave of the nile with Barrel Launcher . An insanely fun combo that nulify the weaknesses of the weapon . The barrels are considered bombs so it can interact with other items/mutation ! Ammo Boys Axe is not OP 🙃 War Jav stun duration is legit . Very cool off color with survival weapons like toothpick , oven axe etc ! I wish Hemmi was surv and brutality indeed . Screw tactics ! Blow Gun has a great auto aim and hangtime . What i love to do is attacking enemies with it while not being on the ground . Killing Deck is a tactics wreckingball . One thing to consider is it goes throw 2 tiles wall . Yumi is legit with bosses. Can use turrets or some breachable skills to stunlock some bosses ! Double yumi is probably one of the most busted thing in the game ! Networking cross and medusa head 😝 Throwing Axe is like scarecrow sickles but worst in every way . Can work with sandals and grappling hook , basically stuff that moves the enemies towards it .

bow and endless quiver and gilded yumi are my favorites, they're so much fun, I got the yumi sometimes on the daily challenge and I already loved it, but I'll try magic bow more, everyone seems to like it but I just can't make it work xD

Hopefully sometime this month if I can get things set up! I don't have a cap card so would need to stream directly from my PS5. I'm planning on doing some testing over the next couple of weeks to see if I can get everything set up properly.

Baseball bat and throwable objects together are way too op

Gonna voice some disagreement and discussion as it goes ! Firebrands can be a main item : fire can have a large area of effect unlike bleed ( unless you have bleed on nearby enemies affixes) . Not to mention fire dot dps is the highest of the game i believe . On tactics it is fun to run around , network everyone and burn . And like Alchemic Carbine , works well with tranquility ! Ewhip networking and ewhip as an acro activator is a beast . Ewhip with wings is also probably the quickest and most absurd biom clears ever encountered. Forstblast Networking is a beast . And it also freezes through protected enemies ! On backpack it just shreads through enemies quickly because of new networking. Infantry is also good as a supporte to fire your next weapon quickly on hold to attack builds ! That's also similar to throwing knives . Quick Bow is indeed sad . It does need a few support ( wings of the crow , mutations , hokuto ) . But it is very fun to use once you get those items going . The range is also very big which is cool . Repeater on tactics is indeed amazing . And yes i will always mention wings of the crow . The more survival like heavy crossbow heavy are also fun with kill rythmn . Ice Crossbow , still don't know how to make it uber viable unless i have frostblast in backpack . I think i simped enough for carbine main haind with tranquility and networking on reddit to make people mad . Hokuto is like a worst corrupted power in my view . And that is not necessarily a bad thing . Very fun to use . Wish it was back in brutality after the nerf . Will watch the second half later !

Lots of good perspective here, thank you for sharing all of that! My takeaways from reading are that I don't use Networking as much as I should and that I haven't dug into Wings deeply enough to explore with how OP it can be. I also wish Hokuto's was dual-scaling, too. I get them splitting some things to Tactics only but I still think it's weird since there are some brutality-only DOT items that would benefit from having the extra bump. (Argument for dual Cleaver here, too.) Between affixes and the DPS boost Corrupted Power is insane but there's still something so satisfying watching the mark spread and enemies pop with DOT builds.

That weapon is SO good! The Pistol is the legendary version of the Machete and Pistol, so it's not a common item. Some of the legendary weapons change up the mechanics of how they work so the Pistol only uses the last shot in the combo for the original item.

Ice shards surprised me. I find them really bad at freezing enemys, the slow is fine, but with that short range its kinda useless for ranged setups, and for survival id rather have a shield or something that freezes or stuns on command. I actively avoid ice shards x)

I can see that! I've been using them for a long time so they have a special place in my heart. Something else I could have mentioned is using them with something like electric whip where you can alternate between the two quickly and do some good work.

Sorry to disappoint! Electric whip is the only ranged-type whip. Valmont, Wrenching, and Vampire Killer are technically considered melee items. I covered these in my melee tier list: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eoGWmdyLgq-7mbA.html

Note, Ammo mutation doesn't work on Boomerang and Cross. However, the legendary versions gets +1 ammo.

They changed that in update 3.4, Ammo works for most items now. If you get a legendary Cross and use Ammo you'll get *3* of them!
