@@dr.catinstein4296 I don't know if it's the aesthetic so much as the playstyle. Plague is quite disturbing, and she's got plenty of fans, people might just not wanna walk cross-map to pick up somebody they down.

Something about the Twins menu music is sorrowful and poignant mixed with just the right amount of creepy. They're both bloodthirsty vicious killers but their menu music makes me feel like after years of trauma and being hunted now they''re together forever and inseparable just like they always wanted. In a way the Entity gave them the only happy ending they could hope to have.

And then it becomes sad again once you bring in the debate of whether Victor really is Victor considering how he was dead for years, and now shows extreme bloodlust. (I like to imagine that it is the same Victor, just more murderous).

With the xylophone and clarinets in the orchestra, this sounds like it’d be a beautiful theme for a Christmas based killer. But regardless, The Twins brought one of the best menu music pieces to this game.

I actually enjoy the Descend Beyond theme, I think it fits the characteristics and backstory of the Blight near perfectly. A story of the tragedy that follows when consumed by your own ambitions and curiosities, the overwhelming greed for knowledge that consumes you if you aren't careful. I enjoy this theme a significant amount as well, it gives off the 17th century French vibe that it's clearly meant to. There's hints of "childlike" melodies littered in this theme to obviously represent the childlike nature of Victor (even if Victor himself is not a child whatsoever).

This sounds interesting, it has the accordion in the first part which I thought would be like a sort of pirate, but after that it goes in the chorus and sounds like a creepy building, I’m not sure what to call the genre or the music. But I can’t wait for the next chapter

Mine in order it goes from favorite to least favorite: Silent Hill, Stranger Things, Cursed Legacy, A Curtain Call, A Binding of Kin, Chains of Hate, Spark of Madness, Hillbilly, Descend Beyond, Ghost Face, Darkness Among Us, Generic Killer Theme, Demise of the Faithful, and Shattered Bloodlines. They need to get a theme for Michael and Pig. I like Bubba and Freddy but I just think a piano DBD theme for Michael would be cool and a Saw theme mix with DBD would be really cool! Everyone already loves the saw theme. The should also add Mr. X. His theme would be so cool and my favorite!

Ok so... I always watched youtubers I liked play it, I only knew the basic concept and knew about the crossovers, never knew how complex the game actually was, this was back in 2017... 2020... I finally play it... this is the first menu theme I had... I really fucking love it.

It almost sounds like the Night Before Christmas 🤣

Put the theme into 0.75x and it will sound spoopy 👀

This theme sounds like it could have been perfect for a pirate killer. My mind things of a random movie tie-in with Davy Jones from pirates of the Caribbean. With the prideful opening bit, and the solemn second half. Great song though. Underrated killer tbh.

I haven’t listened to other Killers’ menu themes (I want to save the surprises) but out the ones I’ve heard so far (Trapper, Hillbilly, Nurse, Huntress, Plague, and Twins) This one has truly blown me away. Such a devastatingly tragic and dark theme, fits the character so well.
