i genuinely think this theme is perfect for miss skully love her or hate her the percussion is insane and definitely suits her industrial theme. as well as how loud and overwhelming this theme is, it perfectly suits her stealth mechanic. not being able to hear her coming and suddenly being hit by layer 4 is terrifying props to michel f april for always making bangers

Layer 1 is kinda similar to the Trickster. This low drum that raises in volume and intensity and then goes back down. Very spooky.

the 16 meters is the best part tbh

@@n00ra34it has her Japanese roots in the form of taiko drumming. look up taiko drumming and you will see japanese use taiko drumming for 12,000 years. The heart beat in the background of layer 3 is them using taiko drumming. If you watch a clip of Japanese people playing taiko, you’ll even hear similar fast paced drumming for the heartbeat the actual chase theme for this killer.

I really hate that most players eventually ask BHVR to "update" the chase music They asked for Pyramid Head chase music because of the bells Skull Merchant's alarms although it has the style of being chase in a jungle Singularity's beeps because it was annoying Xenomorph's Nostromo alarm although it was an amazing chase music for Xenomorph 1979 (a small change in the chase music instead of a constant loop could fix it) Ghostface's chases music the only one i really disliked was the laundry one, but it was problem in-game, all layers were fine until chase music was so loud even you couldn't hear your footsteps Still surprise players haven't ask Shape chase music get an update for the "ding, ding, ding" part or Dredge drums being so "loud"

I was gonna say they sound like Tom Drums on an electric drum kit, but they can widely vary depending on the software Michel uses, The most likely candidate is that they are mimicking Reps/Repique drums which are a metal drum, most commonly see in brazil, so it would make sense to call to her Brazilian origins with the drums. They are known for being rather loud coming in different styles, If I were to assume Michel is probably trying to replicate the smaller ones you'd see street performers have resting on their laps, compared to the ones you'd see in marching bands. Edit: Also adding that there is a chance he's also added filters on them to make them more bass intensive so they can be heard, he's done this with other tracks most prominently in pyramid head's track.

Hey I don't think you know but skull merchant was reworked, she can't hold games hostage anymore. The drones don't expose you anymore, it just injures you if you move when the light touches you. If you're standing still, crouching, or performing an action, her power does nothing

It's incredible how an average company like Behavior can make killers the best in every aspect especially the gameplay, Adriana and Sadako are now the best A tier killers ever with incredible lore, powerhouse perks, competitive and creative addons and gnarly and hot skins. If we are lucky with Freddy, Twins, Myers, Hillbilly, Artist and Singularity, we will see more variety and more raw scary power. If you are reading this comment Behavior just know you are the best, just solve tunneling, remove Wesker or give him a rework too, buff niche perks like Ellen's, Jane's and Yoichi's and more and add new gamemodes like an Rpg pve Edit: I think the Tools of Torment chapter is now one of the best ones, I will gladly buy it, but on sale if I have the permission
