To those saying that the 4th layer is bad: I think the fact that the 4th layer/chase theme is so drastically different is what makes it perfect for Chucky. The other three layers sound like a normal TR with a xylophone or something played in the background which might be hinting at Chucky skittering around. The entire thing is still pretty adrenaline-inducing though. And then we get the actual chase theme which just sounds like an orchestra/children's toy commercial clusterfuck cause we can finally see the thing that was running circles around us: a fucking doll...housing the spirit of a serial killer.

The 8 Meters is an absolute masterpiece. The super intense feel of it is so freaking good. Also, I love how the little fast paced notes switch from side to side in your ears on headphones, makes it feel like you can't keep track of him and he's everywhere around you. It makes it even better with how scary that jump is from the 16 to the 8 meters. The 16 makes his presence known, but you don't know where. The 8 meters feels like he's seen you, you've seen him, but it's hard to keep track of where he is going next. I think this might be the best (imo) 8 meters in dbd. The chase is also really cool to me. The way it has these intense drums but also the higher pitch almost friendly sounding notes in the back make the chase feel deadly but also feel unreal and capture the childish magic that's in the good guy dolls. (I'm probably writing way too much on a theme that most people are just like "it's neat" but I love this theme so much for Chucky.)

This is definitely much better some of the other recent chase themes for sure. I was hoping for some more toy elements in the actual chase theme like in layers 2 and 3 but this is definitely very good regardless. If they update the chase layer specifically to include the same music box melody in the other layers then it’ll be perfect but so far it’s an 8/10 I’d say.

My God I love that the 2nd layer sounds like the Child's Play opening sequence and his menu music sounds like the 2nd one. I just watched a little bit of the series this summer and it's not the best in the world but the movies are forever gold to me, I just love everything about this little psycho.

Id say layer 3 gives Seed vibes more than CP3. Layer 2 is def CP2/Curse inspired.

I'm so glad they actually did Chucky justice. As a major Child's Play fan, I was so worried they would possible fudge it up, but they actually made this by far one of my favorite chapters. Not just because of Chucky, but because EVERYTHING fits so well with him. I only wish he would've gotten his own map. Since it's Child's Play 2 Chucky, the Good Guys doll factory would've been so cool, but Chucky alone is great.

Layer 1 is so creepy and ominous, i love that it kinda sounds like a voice kinda humming or something, so cool

32, 16, AND ESPECIALLY 8 meters are amazing. Chase is alright. Also the whistling sound at 32 makes it my favorite 32 meter theme. That shit sounds so creepy

Holy sht I don't know how to explain but in layer 3 there is a sound going on in the back that I absolutely love, I just don't know the instrument they made it with, you can only hear it with headphones on tho. It's that deeper sound that's there the whole time if you listen closely. So cool

Chase fits him really well in my opinion. He’s not just a little doll but something much more evil, sinister, and supernatural

Dbd just casually released chucky, that was really fucking surprising

I hope they don't change a thing about this chase theme. Third Layer is one of the best terror radius themes in this game.

I am SO happy they put more emphasis on the child like part of the music! It was the one gripe I had with the PTB version, the third one keeps a bit of it I can hear and I love it

Perfectly contrasts the disturbing nature of what only looks like an innocent toy.

This disturbs me on many levels... It legitimately sounds like someone took the melody from an old children's toy commercial and twisted it into something Deranged and evil (pretty apt.) I swear i can hear some kind of whispers in it...

I like how each layer encapsulates how Chucky behaves in the movies, with the music starting off with an innocent, almost whimsical tone, then slowly escalating to something more sinister and malicious.

What are y'all on? This chase music is great. The chase has a lot going on but I think it fits chucky.

I'm not a giant Chucky fan (I like the movies, just not a lot), but his inclusion in the game is a HUGE deal. Aside from that, BHVR are also just insanely talented when it comes to translating licenses into gameplay, so there's plenty to be excited for here regardless.

the chase part of his music sounds like the evil version of a hallmark christmas movie. it has all of those twinkling sounds and the brass instruments, but instead of wholesome its horrific

The little whistle is such a good touch for layers 1 and 2

the drums in layer 4 are great

My only recommendation for this would be to adapt layer 4 to fit the skittish panicked feel previously built up, everything else is really good imo

I still find layer 4 to be something completely different although I don't hate it.

As a Chucky fan, Chase's music (layer 2) reminds me a lot of Chucky 3's music. It's on purpose, I'm sure. It strikes me that no one has noticed it.

4 years ago I started to play dbd, I watched this game in bad and good times. I really feel Chucky is like the height of this game. Its such a great chapter and the chase music is awesome. As a fan of the chucky movies, the chase music really captures the Panic, confusion and fear he puts in his victims. Really great,

Layer 2 is my favorite it’s so creepy and it just gives off that vibe that there’s an evil toy chasing you.

Honestly, i find the first layer (32 M) kinda scary.

Layer 2 literally sounds like it’s directly from child’s play 2 and 3 and maybe curse of chucky as well

i think the reason his chase music is so sparse is so you can hear his voice better when he is chasing you

The longer I listened to the chase music and took in the background instruments the better it got, and the songs buildup layers actually had me on edge. Easily my favorite character track. Side Note - The transition from layer 2 to 3 reminds me of a jack in the box going off.

8 meters part is the best part of the whole terror radius it goes so hardd

Layer two actually reminds me of the 1990 Child’s Play 2

The 3rd layer makes me so uncomfortable in my chair. Which is a great thing.

Layer 3 is letting you know something so deranged, so menacing and devious is about to get you.

Layer one sounds like intense

Layer 1: You enter an abandoned, dilapidated preschool late at night. 5 minutes before 3 a.m.The lights are surprisingly still on for some reason. Layer 2: After a bit of time walking through the halls, you hear a giggle come from one of the doorways of the rooms behind you, and from there on, you can definitely see movement from the edge of your peripherals, and you feel like you are being watched from multiple directions. Layer 3: All the lights suddenly go out, and you start hearing children laughing and giggleing from every room through the halls, and the movements you keep seeing intensify. Always in your peripheral, never quite entirely seen. Your friend tells you to watch your back. Layer 4: _Wait a minute..._ *_Didn't you kill your friend here, years ago?_*
