Ghostface isn't so good. I imagine it's going to take a long, long time to find a survivor as Myers. Dredge is so good. Sadako is also good. I'm not sure why they won't allow Freddie, but I think he'd be good as well.

Two things: One, it feels like the Huntress is becoming the poster child of DbD with how often she is being featured as the killer in trailers, and Two: genuinely surprised they didn't include Alan Wake in this trailer, given how new he is as well as how perfectly themed the event is for him.

Cheap devs. Cheap tactics. Did you not notice how for the base cosmetics for most characters they just used the ‘rotate hue’ mode in photoshop to make ‘different’ cosmetics.

Agreed. I miss when the maps were darker and didn't look like the sky was constantly lit up by a city 5 miles away. It was so much more atmospheric.

The New Moon Bouquet would make the game near pitch black, and paired with the murky reagent it was terrifying, because you couldn't see where the killer was coming from. But, it was worse for killer, because the only thing you had to rely on to find the survivors were scratch marks.. And added to the fact that the players coukd blend in, you couldn't find them. At leadt you can see a certain distance in this game mode, so it is better than back in the day.

@@yeetmcskeet9533 Problem I see is that people who don't like it will just DC. I can easily see huntress players just leaving the match if they get that modifier, resulting in just frustration and time loss for all 5 players. At the same time, if it's a separate mode you can go to, not only does it split the playerbase, it also means you'll get all the stealth killers in that mode and nothing else (specially mirror Myers who can just ignore the limited sight unless the fog also blocks aura reasing). I like the idea, but in practice I don't see the players reacting well to it if it stays as a potential modifier. Best solution would be to have it be an offering replacing the regents.

When the Dredge first came out and his power making it pitch black was awesome/terrifying to play against. So to see something like this coming in, is very exciting. Will be cool to see it from both sides too. Not just survivors experience the darkness. I hope you give us a decent amount of time to try this mode out (hopefully a few weeks/a month tops)

I got to be the one to point out that this was not how people felt about dredge. People felt the darkness was unplayable. And now when teased with a mode clearly best suited for a scooby doo search were getting darkness for every killer for no reason

@@gamecub911 hi, tbf this is based on my opinion and I genuinely love the creepyness the Dredge power gave the game. Plus I know a few others who feel the same, it made dbd more horror based. Again just my opinion. Hopefully this will be an option and not forced upon the entire player base. As it's titled as a mode I think that's what the devs are planning. So I don't think you need to be worried about this, if you are. Either way it's cool to see something different coming to the game. Which is what a few people have been asking for. Something new added to the game to freshen it up.

I think dredges nightfall isn’t scary enough, they literally highlight him in white and play tornado sounds, when you know the maps it’s not that hard and because you can see him so far away

I personally think Dredge’s nightfall is just way too dark. Where I don’t even think is scary, just annoying, cause you can’t see anything lol. From the looks of this trailer, it seems like it won’t be anywhere as dark as nightfall, and I think is creepier and scarier that way.

Honestly makes the game look more fun! Both the killers and survivors having a huge disadvantage of not seeing each other. It sucks when you can't lose the killer as easy, because they can still see you! Also Lights Out really does brings out the atmosphere of the maps better than what we currently got!

it's great that the dev's are listening to the community. tons of people have said the maps were too bright so now they add this. I wish it wasn't limited time only
