EDIT: No, Horrific Overture is not at all similar to Infectious Fright. However in the footage, it was used WITH Infectious, which is one of many perks that could trigger Horrific Overture. Be sure to read up on the perk in the Killer Menu section. Unfortunately, no teaser this time either. While we know what we want to do next, we're not totally sure if it's within our possibilities yet, so we don't want to end up dissapointing you by cancelling it later. Once we're 100% sure, we'll release a teaser separately. We have also received your questions that were submitted to the Q&A form linked here earlier, and will be posting the answers soon.

I have a suggestion: I think System Shock would be an interesting license to tackle. The killer would be SHODAN in her avatar form with The Hacker as a survivor. Although, the latter doesn’t really have a real name that we know of, so poor guy is gonna sound like a killer lmao.

Omg, the way closets serve as a tool for survivors to deal with the killer's power, while the latter also having a tool to deal with these lockers is so smart! Must be so nerve wracking having to hide in a locker, and just being "locked out" of them for a while. Yet another amazing concept, great job!

8:47 BHVR when they realize the community is more excited for this DLC than their own. Amazing work, so much effort and imagination, loved every second of this.

I’d love to see a vid like this on The Thing. The map could be the arctic research base, the killer power can be disguising as survivors, and the survivor can be Kurt Russel’s character. It basically writes itself.

Absolutely incredible. If this actually came out into official Dead By Daylight, I would definetally be maining both the new killer and survivor. I love the Amnesia games so much and I rarely hear anyone talk about them, so I always assumed that maybe people forgot the masterpiece that the Amnesia games are. I am overjoyed seeing someone put so much effort into creating such fantastic fan content about a set of games that I hold near and dear to my heart. Although it's not an Amnesia game, I would have loved to have seen a small reference to the game SOMA, another game made by Frictional Games (the creators of the Amnesia series); it plays out pretty similarly to the Amnesia titles and I love it as well. Maybe if this was officially released, an enemy, and the protagonist from SOMA could be alternate skins for the killer and survivor, sort of like Cheryl Mason's cosmetics? Regardless, you guys did an amazing job with this and I am extremely happy with the results. It would be a dream come true if this made it into the game.

this concept video is so cool I don't know much about the amnesia series but the idea of a killer that slowly drives the survivors mad over time is so cool and it's demonstrated really well here the visuals are top notch and look way more official than your previous works not to mention that amazing narration from pixel bush who is one of my favorite KZread to listen to talk about dead by daylight lore if you were to say this was a leaked dlc I would actually believe it. you both really killed it with this concept and I am excited to see the next one makes me want this to be a real chapter.

"BHVR just needs to hire this man for their trailers at this point" with all respect to Pixel, my bias towards him aside, he's not good for the job. The current narrator for trailers is more than perfect for Dead by Daylight.

This is the best chapter concept I've ever seen. I'm a huge fan of Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and all these assets would be perfect in Dead by Daylight. The world of Amnesia fits perfectly too. I am blown away that you guys even did all the Killer addons, complete with artwork. Simply incredible.

As a huge Amnesia fan and that played all the games, I really love this concept. It’s very well done, the perks, the map, and just everything is perfect. Keep up the good work! ❤️

Scourge hook:to the slaughter is an honestly brilliant anti-tunnel perk. You are incentivised to hook everyone twice and when you do the game gets easier for the killer due to the auras. We don't have that in game so we can't say how effective it would really be, but as always, it amazes me how a team of fans can do a better job at trying to come up with fun and FAIR perks to counter tunneling/camping.

Im gonna love this, TDD is the only horror game that made me stay in the corner with my lantern off facing the wall. I really hope someday they can add Daniel and the servants into DBD

@@taluca8474 i mean, for every map they release multiple variations of, they need to playtest the maps, model new assets for it, make sure it's balanced, etc. I don't like it - but I understand why they'd rather just make one good map than 3 half baked maps. And, considering the "multiple maps from one realm" philosophy brought us Badham Preschool, I definitely prefer the "one good map" idea.

The figment concept reminds me of how I wish the Doctor's hallucinations worked when he was released. Very well done.

The amount of work put into these is astounding to me. You guys are amazing! BHVR should learn a thing or two about how something is done in their own game.

with SOMA being the inspiration for the entirety of the end transmission chapter, and the devs naming gabriel soma after the game as an homage, there's a tiny sliver of hope that one day we may get an actual amnesia chapter

i would be a GIGANTIC fan of this. i've been a gigantic fan of the amnesia series since 2012, when i was 11 years old. the dark descent has been my favourite horror game since i discovered it, and nothing comes close. the bunker is genuinely terrifying though. EDIT: oh my fucking god y'all. this genuinely has me in tears, it is so PERFECT. this makes me feel a way i can't describe, y'all did an UNREAL job on this.

​@@FinestFantasyVIwrong. This perk if you read the text, says that whenever a survivor screams, not just when being downed. But it could also mean being injured, other perks, shocked, stuff like that, it'll make every other survivor close by scream. So it's a better infectious

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes real in a few years, a map with a castle thematic with dark basements based on amnesia would be insane

finally, after centuries, they finally came back with a new video. this really makes me very happy.

Fantastic work for everyone involved. BHVR should take notes! Seriously, the power looks great, I always wanted to see how things like illusions and mimics would function, and I always worried it'd be too weak, but this has a very nice balance offering lockers as a sort of double edged sword to counter. The map, atmosphere and soundtrack is also fantastic, there is definitely some attention to lore and a passion for the source. Bravo.
