Being a HUGE nightmare on elm street fan, it makes me soo sad knowing they could have used the original Freddy and added Nancy Thompson as a survivor, the elm street house as a map would’ve been sick. Huge missed opportunity.

I think it was the cheaper option to use the remake characters- if BHVR did the chapter now, we’d definitely get original series Freddy, and probably Nancy Thompson too. Elm Street house as a map? Maybe, but to avoid it being too similar to Haddonfield they could’ve also done something like Westin Hills, the boiler room itself as its own map, etc.

I know old Freddy wasn’t the strongest killer in the game, but he was incredibly unique and really brought the character to life. It’s a shame BHVR sucked the soul out of his character just to make him stronger. Nothing about him FEELS like Freddy Krueger anymore.

I’m so glad they reworked him. He was complete trash with his original dream demon abilities. Having survivors right in front of him and he couldn’t even attack them since they weren’t sleeping. How dumb was that?

Not at all. He was my main. You don't have to use him like a normal killer in chase. You have to take back the sleeping survivors when you see them in awful places in the map... He only needed the Gen teleport with his old power and he would have been just fine. He was at least Tier B if you were able to use him. I really hate the new one... Is just too easy to use and unfun to use too

I agree his power does need a nerf but it's good that they changed it, I played freddy when he first came out and after playing him for two months he wasn't worth it, chases took to long, his counterplay is easy to master, and its rng with some set ups. If you main him that's cool dude but he needed a rework and the community agrees

@@naruto12mendiola he wasn't meant to be a killer for chases. You had to put a surv into the dream world and let him go without hurting him. When you see his aura and he is in an awful spot you go after him and take him by surprise. It's hard to explain but he was the main reason I bought that dlc. Now I would only want a refund. A good example is schrach mirror Myers. Freddy was a better schrach mirror that doesn't slow the movement speed and adds slowness in all actions. It was super fun

@@bigenemy000 again I played him during ptb and before the rework. He wasn't fun, he had too many counter plays, just because survivors go to a bad spot doesn't mean it helped him. Freddy was at his best with slugging because of the 50 percent reduction to healing and gens. Again if you liked him good for you dude, but he did need it because other killers were just better to play with.

Helen Pink not so much anymore though. Ever since the rework, Freddy is genuinely a really strong killer. I still don’t particularly like playing him, but you can’t deny he is quite powerful, plus blood warden is pretty cool. But Quentin and every other perk in that chapter is terrible

I remember maining old Freddy and getting rank 1 with him in 2 days,he was pretty fun,but weak.I don't main him because i don't like him that much anymore,even tho this buff was pretty good for him,he is not that fun anymore,especially that you have forever Freddy,or however it was called.I think fire up should be buffed to 5% per gen and work for lockers too,it would work for huntress too now!

Stranger things based update should come next! The map could be Hawkins but placed in the upside down! The survivor could be Nancy or jonathon (maybe will but I don't think so because he's a kid still)The killer could be the demogorgan (he doesn't always kill his victims he does kidnap so people) And instead of the hook it could be a wall of that stuff that keeps you pinned to the wall and the eel thing could be laying slugs in the survivor which could replace the spider!MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Finally got the game yesterday!!!! And I’m happy I waited so I will be into it a lot woth my friends!!!!

they fucked up picking Quentin as the survivor and also using a pre school instead of elm street for the map.... what a wasted opportunity, the could of had the elm street house with a bunch of nods to the movie hidden in there... i had high hopes for a nancy survivor.

so if you're Freddy, you're invisible like the wraith, and if you put the survivor into sleep, they are slowed and you can see them if they are not in your radius? And the Fire Up perk is also a combination of the other perks since you can destroy pallets faster, vault faster etc?

I dont like the announcers voice. I wish they used the guy with the deep voice that does some of the other chapter trailers. This guys voice takes me out of the trailer im watching and just it sort of comical

Shift yes First pirk can make the victim walk towards him 2nd pirk can make the victim go insane cause them to hit the floor and scream which is a stun 3rd perk will drop a balloon when a victim passes it pennywise will appear

People complained about the first freddy but forgot he couldn’t hurt ppl in the movie that where awake they had to be sleep thats the whole point of freddy being a nightmare
