I felt it so much! Edwin was the standout that episode. The whole deal with Charles dealing with his torment and his death scene playout was well acted too.

Can we just appreciate Edwin scream!?

Edwin’s scream got to me, he was already in “physical” pain being tortured by Esther and then he’s facing emotional pain seeing one of his close friends die right in front of him. Super well done

George Rexstrew's scream.... visceral. he was amazing in this show

Edwin should win Oscar for that scream. For godsake, his acting, even all the casts but especially Edwin, have made me cry. This show has no right to be this good

I hope the cat king returns and teams up with Niko, would be so funny to see the bittersweet reaction Edwin has

They are the Port Townsend locals anyways… I hope the London crew can reconnect with all of them still even if this doesn’t end up happening

Honestly I’d love to see the cat king join the agency, that would be HILARIOUS

The most heartbreaking thing that happened in the 8th episode for me was what happened in the time of Niko’s death, because she just sacrificed herself to save Crystal, and Edwin’s just watching all of this, unable to do anything while in pain and strapped down 😭😭💔

Edwin screaming for nikos death was the best scene in the show for me because it was soooo real. I thought immediately “no way they are killing off the BEST detective” lol. Nikos character is so fun and bright. A nice contrast to the rest of the series so if they don’t make her a permanent member of the dead boy detective agency I WILL be storming the Netflix building!

i need season 2 not only for the amazing cast, great writing, lovable characters, intriguing plot and interesting universe, but also for more incredible acting from george rexstrew as edwin. i'm OBSESSED with his reaction to niko's death, i don't know why reaction videos never say anything about it? it was INSANE.

This series is amazing - please please renew it Netflix!! I need to know exactly what happened to Niko, to find out more about Kashi, to hear more from Tragic Mick, to see the boys and Crystal move back to London, the postman- he's another mystery. Basically I would love a 2nd season please 🙏🏻

Georges scream for Niko actually made me cry so hard. All of their acting was so amazing in the whole show but this scene killed me.

That last scene with Niko in the igloo along with the Dead Boy Detectives back in London with Crystal and the Night nurse made me really want more! I really truly hope Netflix will make a second season!!

Great finale imo :) Could work as an ending hypothetically, but I sincerely hope we see the story continue.

We need Season 2 to be sure what happened to Niko and why is she with the spirits, and many more things that are unsolved... and of course, I want more about that meet between Edwin and Despair, don't think I forgot about that. So please, Netflix, renew this show, be good :)

I think she ended up in the “Neitherlands” a place between life and death, kind of a sub-section of Purgatory, that was in one of the recent DBD comic runs.

While they never said it explicitly, I assume Jenny being able to see the boys towards the end of the series was due to her possession by David. Niko, of course, had a near death experience which allowed her to see them. I also liked how the ghost mythology from Dead Boys is also present in Ghosts, both sets of ghosts not understanding how they can walk through walls but never fall through floors. Whatever the status is of Niko it is a sweet cliffhanger for season two.

This show is sooo good ! Please renew it, Netflix!!!

No but fr I know that George is a new actor but Gods Damn it he Deserves some kind of an award for his acting in this show. He played Edwin p e r f e c t l y, both in the scenes where he gets to be sassy and snarky, nailing the mannerisms, as well as in those dark and emotional scenes like the stairway or this one.

I will say the difference in appearances, accents and what age I think the actors are vs the characters is wild. Jayden is exactly the sae age as Charles, while Yuyu is Niko's big sister!
