May our love for one another be as fervent as this prayer.

This type of praying is what got our people out of bondage and institutional segregation. And afterwards. I don't even think deacons kneel on their knees anymore. But we need this type of praying now more than ever. Thank you for this.

This is how we pray at my church. I love this praying. You can feel the anointing. A fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much!!

I have not heard prayer 🙏 like this in church since visiting family in the deep south. Lord, I felt that sitting here on a Sunday at home while churches are still closed.

My Father was a Deacon, I used to watch him and other Deacons hold prayer like this before Service every Sunday. I miss you Daddy. Your daughter has since become a Minister.

carere28 yessss. So many want to get in and get out... nobody wants to saturate in service and worship anymore. That’s why a true move of God cannot happen; because we want to hurry everything. Check out my post...type a time to pray.

I remember back in the day like the 70s those type of prayers was prayed every Sunday morning and the church would just erupt in the presence of the Holy Spirit something's happen don't know what it is really but church has become a business multi-billion-dollar business I just missed this kind of worship!

Old school deacons praying. I grew up watching these guys pray. The church was lit back then!

Oh My God, a real connection with the Lord, Prayers went past the ceiling and straight to the Throne of God. They did it and thats where we should be , i pray all of us get and stay connected

wow this is why we need to be taught intercession we need to pray the word and in the spirit

Man I miss this At Sundays devotion. D School Praying, yeah it may be long but when someone's feeling the Spirit like This Deacon, you can't put a time limit on him... I love it!!!!

Is This Your Father? My Father was Head Deacon and Use to Pray Like This....So Did my Uncle.......They don't Pray like this anymore......I Was raised in a Pentecostal Church and they did some Praying Up In There.....That's why I am here Today.

Thank you Lord. A prayer of humility realizing who God is and who we are in Him. A prayer of thanksgiving coming from the bro.'s own heart. We pray according to the will of God and when we don't know it we cry out to God and the Holy Spirit of God will make intercession for us taking our prayer and giving it to God the way it ought to be.

I listen to this prayer often.

The custodian in my office used to pray and sing like this as he worked when he thought everyone had gone for the day. He came in with the wringer bucket and mop and was kind of startled. I told him to continue.

No matter how old this video is I always listen to it. These deacons really know how to cry out to God!

Always remember our Father listens to the cries of His children. No man can determine whether our prayers have been heard. If we pray in faith, with a pure heart He promised to hear us. Quiet, loud, weak, full of faith, doubtful. He hears us. Style of prayer won't stop Him from hearing us. Sin is the ONLY hindrance.
