People need to calm down and realise that this was eventually going to happen. We have been selling off our best talent for the last few years and the team was not prepared to play competitively in both the premier league and Europa league.

People keep saying we keep selling off our players, we don't they are taken, by having their heads turned by the so called bigger clubs, by being given bigger wages, it's not like we have a choice.

Trouble is that Brighton is seen as a transitional club…. “ play for Brighton, and when you want to leave or Chelsea come a knocking, we won’t stand in your way” Buying in young potential is fantastic BUT that puts pressure on the experienced players to make up for the mistakes they make.

It is exactly Brighton's strategy to make ourselves seen as a stepping stone club. Not only for the big clubs who come to poach our best players, but also for young players who are eager to showcase their skills as early as them can. We wouldn't have had a plethora of prospects in our squad if we haven't lured them with the idea of not blocking their ambitions, atleast until recently.

This guy made the team aim big by competing on 3 sides this season. What did the club do in return? They sold their most experienced players and didn't sign new players to meet this challenge. The result is not shocking at all. Forza De Zerbi !

@@lombekabaso301 These competitions have drained his players' energy. The team is missing at least 8 key players by the end of this season, 6 of the available players are under the age of 20. Do you expect them to be top 4 or what? This is Brighton after all. If they want to compete in the high level, let the team do what big teams do and start signing players, and most importantly, they need to stop selling their key talents. Simple.

This was the worst performance in RDZs time. His starting line up was bizarre when considering the bench. 70% plus possession and clueless in the final third. 7 more changes and a system of play that everyone seems to have figured out… I can’t see us picking up any more points this season.

With best players, lost Luton 0-4, Fulham 0-3, Roma 0-4 with Pedro, Fati, Adingla, Enciso, Pinyan .. and all best defense played together but they weren't good. This lost 0-3 still better than those previous games. Better than the last 0-4 to Luton. Much progressed.
