By far has been the hardest part of postpartum. I can't even pick up my baby. I feel so bad having my husband do everything. I tried to change a diaper and he had to take over. Thank you so much for this video!

@@bridniecelis8709 hi there, I ended up getting a steroid shot and pain went away in a day. You can set up an appointment with an orthopedic and mention steroid shot so they make sure the proper doctor is available to administer. My child is now almost two and I had two rounds of shots since he was born.
This is the realest
Thank you
I suffer De quervains for 3 months only injection give it to me but not helpful...How the faster treatment to fix it..I don't want to surgery..😢😢
Don’t ice stuff. Blood flow brings nutrients to heal the area. Ice will slow the healing process. Sometimes you’ll have to immobilize something to heal, but as soon as you can start moving again, you should. Movement/exercise increases that blood flow/healing.

Ice kills inflammation. It's very beneficial and actually enhances blood flow
I just finished step 1 and it's improved and somehow lessened the pain. Onto step 2, how long should I keep wearing the tape?
I suffered de quervain now
I have both my thumbs with this and right has a light form of golfers now. The left thumb is worse. Am doing stretching and its gotten a tiny bit better but my wrists are so stiff after such a long time in braces...had it for 8 months. Waiting for the first meeting with doc. They speak of surgery...am worried about surgery..do it or not...all say so different things...worse desision ever or best...hm

Can it cause pain also in thumb in higher parts? Just like inside the thumb or around it?

I have a swelling on my wrist about the size of a half marble, does it require surgery or would it still heal naturally. I have this for more than half a year now but the pain is less than before.
I have such a severe case of de Quervain’s tenosynovitis, my tendons are extremely swollen -it looks like I have a marble in my wrist. I have surgery scheduled after2 rounds of cortisone injections failed to fix. The brace causes even more pain when it touches my wrist. Is surgery my only option at this point?

same here, I've had it for almost 2 years now and I'm a professional artist, so yeah, it sucks, have you gone through surgery yet?
is there pain in the thumb too with de quervain?

Hard to diagnose online. You can search "Finklestein Test" to check if you have the injury.
I have a different problem in which all my finger muscles have the urge to bend and I cannot seem to control it is how do I solve that problem

Hyper active finger flexors.... stretch them and do some deep tissue massage of the foream muscles
Both my wrist have swelling on them, one is smaller and the other is half the size of a marble. Natural healing by resting wont work?

Still painful? Well some people will heal naturally over time. But you can speed things up by following the vid.
I tried the brace but it just causes chafing when I'm jerking, I mean playing with my phone, yes my phone.
Would u recommend the same if it's in the pinky finger side?

That's a different injury. Could be TFCC or another tendon injury. FCU tendon commonly.

Try using a fixed rigid splint for 2 weeks... and ice daily. You probably need to see a hand surgeon if it doesn't get better.
How long do this pain last . I have hand it 3 months
@PhysioBarn

If nothing else works, you have to immobilize the wrist for 10-14 days.
SO MUCH PAIN. PAIN KILLEES DON'T WORK😢😢😢

Maybe try icing everyday, and afew times a day. Also, using a wrist and thumb splint is the last option
Surgery is the best option and you won’t regret it

No doubt some people resort to surgery, but most people can recover without surgery.
Its never good to rest too much imo
So you know the part where the palm of your hand and the wrist meet? Im having lots of pain there. It started happening after tripping and landing on my wrist. Since then it’s extremely hard to move around. Any suggestions?

Flexor tendon tendinitis most likely. Try use a massage ball for that area
Very painful condition, I could even hold my baby
I just leave it be and it’ll heal in about 3 days
