Bass & Guitart cover of De La Soul's famous song Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey) released in thje album "De La Soul Is Dead" in 1991.
It is thought that "Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey)" takes the bass line from "Act Like You Know" by Fat Larry's Band, a 1982 song, but in fact the bass line is from "Help Is on the Way" by The Whatnauts released in 1981, which features the same bass line as "Act Like You Know". The chorus of "Ring Ring" uses the lyrics and melody of the Curiosity Killed The Cat song "Name and Number" (1989). The bass line of the intro comes from Lou Johnson's"Beat" (1972) and the drum break from The Honey Drippers' ";Impeach the Presiden" (1973).
