Was a memorable night for me, I was stationed at Fort Hood and we members of the boxing team where Evander Holyfields security as he toured the post with a christian rapper Nuwine, After a Nuwine concert we made it to the sports dome just in time for the fight, I missed the undercard cause of the security detail but we arrived to watch the fight right as they where starting their ring walks! Too bad it wasn't the anticipated war, but memorable times in boxing none the less!

Clearly oscar won this is one of the most controversial fights

i would not have been raging mad if de la hoya won...tito winning was a shocker, but upon further review, it really wasn't, de la hoya put the fight in the hands of the judges and they gave the fight to tito..the judges weren't wrong or paid off....they just viewed the fight differently...tito won

This is right up there with Pac-Bradley. This was one of the worst decisions in boxing. Tito barely laid a glove on Oscar for the first 8 rounds!

This was one of the top 5 worst decisions in boxing ever. Oscar boxed Tito's ears off actually made him look silly for 8 or 9 of the 12 rounds. Now I admit Oscar ran and basically gave away the last 3 rounds but by then the fight was already won.

This is a 12 round - 36 minutes CHAMPIONSHIP FULL FIGHT SHOW. Oscar spent too much time going backwards on purpose avoiding the confrontation. That is a very miserable boxing showmanship. Therefore, Oscar deserves to lose. Period. End of Story.

De La Hoya domino los primeros 7 rounds facil sin embargo en una scorecard le dio 4 de 7 rounds y en los ultimos 5 rounds le dio unos rounds a Oscar cuando oscar no tiro ni un golpe para tratar de no acer tan obvio de que se vendio. Yes it is and Oscar won 8 of them 12 rds. You don't lose because you boxed..you lose when your opponent hits you more times the you hit him/her. De La Hoya made Trinidad look ordinary. 100 more punches connected. Oscar looked terrific. Don King.
