That song is more like a romantic reggae style but i love it. Almost every reggaeton singer knows each other since childhood in the old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Many artist from Puerto Rico are not just work partners, they are pretty close. As far as I know, De la Ghetto and Arcángel used to live together for example. Nicky Jam used to work a lot with Daddy Yankee, they called themselves "los Cangris'. Another funny fact is that Arcángel raised one of the sons of Nicky Jam. In this video not only were Daddy and the other dude, you can also see Tito el Bambino in it, one singer I have seen requested in your videos.

So curious fact almost every face focused in this video was someone famous at that time or still famous we can see "Daddy Yankee" "Ñejo" "Tito El Bambino" "Jowell" "Willy Cultura" "Julio Voltio" "Hector El Father" and many more!

This was the best song from back in the day for me. This is that song that will forever be Engraved in my head. Fun fact in that shot where there’s a a lot of guys in a circle dancing and looking at the camera, there’s soooo many famous reggeaton singers there. Ken Y from Rakim and Ken Y, Daddy Yankee and Yandel I believe is there too. They’re all Puerto Rican so it wouldn’t surprised me that these people grew up together or near each other

The video was shot in Llorens Torres, the largest housing project in San Juan and PR. It shows a glimpse of street life and I would say it hasn’t changed much (except for the super baggy pants 😂) This is only the street life aspect so it doesn’t reflect the island entirely. Because it’s a small island many people are connected; especially musicians - ie Cultura, Yankee. Many even grew up together in the same neighbourhood. Puertorricans share a real sense of community so collabs have always been popular 💥

Most reggaetón artist from Puerto Rico in the early days either knew each other or knew of each other. The genre was heavily censored by the government and so a lot of it was done under the table. So a lot of the people you see either grew up together or knew of each other one way or another.

This song was a smash! And yes they were famous but not a group. Randy was and is actually with Jowell and De La Ghetto was with Arcangel. The late ones went separate ways and are still big reggaeton influencers. Jowell and Randy went off for a while but now they have come back with a new album called Viva el perreo. Mid 2000 reggaeton was the best. Still holding on those good memories from my teen years and this songs. ❤️
