It's eye opening just how good camera settings, lighting etc, makes the face look!! The phone pics, which exaggerated the issues, were nearer true life at least. Seeing the phone pics helped me understand what you were saying about the foundation. Poor you, I hope you washed your face just as soon as you finished filming. Thank goodness I'm not the only one in the world that HATES the Haus Labs foundation!! A $45 mistake...I just can't get it to work for me...primer, no primer, brush application, sponge application...it never sets!! And the MBM lip is way too slippery for me!! 😞

Thankfully I tried this foundation in store to make sure I get the right color match and could not get why people love it so much. It made my pores look way worse 😑

I think the Dior blush and the PMG liquid eyeshadow look so good on you!

I’ve been so afraid to try that hauls labs foundation for that exact reason! As someone with physical acne scars, foundations are always a tad tricky! The eyebrows were FLAWLESS!!!

The haus labs is my every day ride or die lol!! BUT, I do not have dry skin I am very oily. Mt skin care is all glow recipe ending with the blur drops. Then I use elf halo glow, then apply haus and it looks amazing on me! Funny enough as well, the Milani is my favorite liquid bronzer lmao. It all comes down to differences in skin types.

I agree on some of these. Haven’t tried others. The Dior concealer was horrible for me. It looks cakey within minutes.

Finally someone said the same thing. Thought about the Haus labs foundation. It accentuates every pore on my face.

What I like is that your videos are down to earth. We don't have perfect skin. We have imperfections. So reviewing products under real circumstances is helpful.

I never return makeup but I made an exception and returned the Haus labs foundation. I had gotten the white to use as a mixer and for my palest winter days. Nope. It emphasized every dry patch, pore and not to mention all the peach fuzz on my face that’s normally invisible. For a glowy white mixer I use the Linda Halberg liquid highlighter and it’s fabulous. I think that’s the only product on your list that I tried.

Haus of labs looks yellow on me too!!! PML looks peach 🍑 on me but I love the formula. In fact the only undertone that works for me is Tom ford stick (cool medium undertone)

It’s fun to have a different type of video sometimes, kinda un-Patty-like, makes it easier to not take it all so seriously 😆 although I appreciate your usual creativity and passion for beauty. I agree with everyone else, the mascara color is so cute

I was really thinking to get the Haus Lab foundation, but as I see so many people that do not like it 🤔 maybe not worth spending almost 100€, I live in Europe and is way to expensive with the delivery and taxes. Will stick with my light reflecting Nars foundation

My favorite concealer is by kvd, over the 30 other concealers I own. It doesn't need powder on top, and never crease.

I looovveee haus labs foundation. Though I only apply small amounts of foundations with my fingers. Looks like skin! (And I have pores and oily skin!)

I am not convinced by Charlotte Tilbury's Mask either. It always lowers my lashes, does not give me volume and stains after a while around the eyes. The best ones for me are those from Lancôme

100% disagree over the CT PushUp mascara. I avoided it after Wayne Goss’s review, then was swayed by other reviews to give it a try. For the first 3 days, I hated it. After I perfected the technique that the wand really requires and got used to the wetter formula, I WAS IN LOOOOOOOVE! It is now my HG, and the BEST mascara I have ever used- nothing else even comes close. I have continued to re-purchase multiple times. It blows everything else away- PMG, Dior, Essence Lash Princess, Lancome, Huda. It is a life changer. I’ll buy it forever! 🔥🔥🔥

I am not usually a Milani girl but I got the contour wand to work for me. I use a tiny amount and blend out with Sonia G’s Lotus base brush. No other brush or sponge works for me to blend it out.

I agree with you about the Haus Labs foundation and the Dior concealer. I returned the concealer and wish I had returned the foundation. I have oily skin and if falls off my face quite quickly. My partner even commented that the foundation was gone and she never notices things like that!

Thank you lovely, I totally agree with the fact that I hate a full matte face of products on myself, I look after my skin but I still can never get away with too much powder or 'matte-ness' lol if thats a word hehe. I just feel it highlights texture one didn't know exists, I'm talking from the view point of a dehydrated skin type xo Appreciation from Australia😘

Last sephora sale i got a bunch of luxury and high end foundations. Like 7-8 probably more. The only one to go back was the Haus Labs. Absolute mess. Also I disagree with comments about using less of the Haus lab’s foundation. I use only an appropriate amount by building up very thin layers as needed and it still looked atrocious. It amazes me when people say they like it. i also have dry skin so maybe its not suitable for that.

What a fun idea Patty! I actually think your eyes and lips are really pretty! You shouldn’t declutter those products. The color of the blush was lovely as well.

I like the Haus Labs foundation. There are a HUGE amount of luxury foundations that are a lot worse. I've heard that the Backstage concealer is terrible by a large majority so never tried that one. I HAAAAAATED the reformulated dior blushes. They go so patchy and don't blend. I also didn't like the Charlotte Tilbury mascara. I got panda eyes VERY quickly.

I will watch these videos better than favorite makeup

The Haus Labs foundation looked good when I put it on. Then a few hours later when I got into my car and looked in the rearview mirror, I was horrified. Did not look flattering on my skin at all and I was so disappointed. Now I just wear it if I go out in the evening to a restaurant where there's no natural lighting 🙃

I know I’m the odd ball but I love the foundation and the jacklyn hill powder. I don’t use a lot of the powder and I use a brush to put on very little of the foundation I don’t like the foundation with a sponge. The powder I take a Semi fluffy brush and put a little on after my makeup is finish. I really like using the powder if my concealer is too dark or I need to make that area a little brighter. But I hate setting my concealer with the jacklyn hill powder. The Dior blushes I think all except the coral one is over hyped even the pink one.

That nanoblur blurred my skin really well as a primer but it broke me out in tiny white bumps under my skin on my forehead and they went as soon as I stopped using it.

Milani and I do not get along. Nothing from the brand works for me. Sigh. I am always amazed how I seem to be the only one who doesn’t like the brand. I threw out that contour wand after a few days of struggling with it.

Thanks for discussing the CT pushup mascara. I thought it was just me. I do get very feathery lashes, which I like, but no length. It doesn't smudge or flake all day. Is she simply not putting enough product in the darn tube?

I think the makeup by Mario is similar to the haus foundation. I have texture to my skin so neither would work for me. If you want a glowy foundation, try the it cosmetics nude glow foundation. It is perfect, in my opinion.

See I totally disagree. I hate the Haus Labs foundation. Like it's probably the worst foundation I've ever tried. On the flip side, I can't put the Makeup by Mario foundation down lol so I don't think they're similar at all.

Haus labs foundation was a 🤬NO for me too!!!! Cruuuuussstttyyy Mussssttyyy!!! And YESSSS….pores were enhanced to look like crusty cakes craters!!! I would really like my $18 back!!! I tried the sample pack $6 and some change and if you don’t buy a full size bottle of foundation, they charge you an additional $12 and some change on the website!!! 🥺🥺🥺 So yeahhh!! That’s my opinion!!!

I usually don’t powder where I apply my liquid bronzer tbh I only powder in the center of the face. Which means whenever I tried the contour in the past it wasn’t on top of powder and it also didn’t work for me. 😂 like I said I can make it work but I like others much better. ❤️

I tried the Nanoblur as a primer. And yes, it did blur the pores. Untill I put foundation over it. The blurring effect was totally gone. I didn't like it.

The Haus Labs company must’ve paid big bucks for advertising on KZread, because EVERYONE was just raaaaving about that foundation when it came out 🙄 now we hear nothing, crickets 🦗. Nobody on KZread uses that foundation anymore. I hate that when that happens! I’m so glad I didn’t waste my money buying it. I think that liquid eyeshadow looked great on your eyes! The mascara looked awesome too! Yeah, they didn’t look good together, but separate they would look good! That base though, wooo boy, not good 😆 😮

Oh gosh im so glad im not the only one who thinks the haus labs foundation absolutely SUCKS. I have combo oily skin and it literally, just like you said, accentuates EVERY pore and just brings out the texture in your skin, ugh horrible!

Yeah i dont like the flat matte look either. Maybe try less concealer under the eyes. Just inner corner and outer. I actually find that helps. I also dont powder under there. I use setting spray on a sponge and pat it in. Maybelline age rewind is my holy grail. Doesnt crease. X

In my humble opinion, I would have put the Tower 28 mascara in this video. That mascara is a disaster! I used it twice and found it to be clumpier than all the other mascaras I have ever triedn. And it would not wash off - I would have flakes of it stuck to my face the next day. I still don't get how that mascara "went viral". I ended up throwing it out after those two uses.

Sorry, but I got the Dior Rosewood and Cherry blushes and they look amazing on my complexion. I can’t speak to the other products though.

I don't love the Milani contour colors. Im very fair & it just comes off orange on me. I love your eyebrows 😘

The one thing that seems consistent in those who do not like the Haus labs is that they apply too much. I don’t even use a full pump and I believe you used two full pumps. You may not want to try, but if you use less, it will perform differently. It is one of my holy grails, but I have heard if you use too much, it does not perform well. Good news is using less makes it last much longer! I get compliments on my mature skin since I have been using it!

Nah, that foundation is just horrible. I tried it basically every single way I possibly could have and couldn't get it to work. People kept telling me to try it this way and that way. But why should I baby a foundation when I have 40+ that work beautifully without babying them? Just my opinion.

Not a fan of Haus labs foundation. Love their blush though. Dior blush is nice. Ct mascara is good, but expensive. Not a big fan of Mario. You look very pretty. You always do. Thank you for the upload

Salut 👋 I think the problem is how much fondation and concealer you put on your face, it would be enough for 10 people 😅 and nothing would be emphasized if you reduce the amount of product 😊

Oof...that foundation is a huge no. I wonder if you had a base that you normally had, if some of those other products would've worked or looked better. Glad I never got the Haus Labs foundation. I saw that on so many other people, and they're like "it's good!", and I'm saying "Really? Is it?" I never thought it looked good.
