    Needs a big red D after the VI. Hoho. Seriously though, the Mosquito is my favourite WW2 aircraft. Just something about it’s looks and history.

    Yes a night fighter, HJ711 had served with 141 and 169 squadrons. 141 Squadron fly intruder missions over German night fighter airfields in support of Bomber Command. dedicated support group. 169 Squadron joined No. 100 Group at Little Snoring. The squadron re-equipped with Mosquito II night fighters in January 1944 and commenced night intruder operations against German night fighters

    That's what I thought when I saw the shielded exhaust. But no black paint scheme as with other night fighters?
