Great educational video that everyone should watch. I disagree with one interviewee's summation, that the fourth option to the crisis is 'chaos where no one does anything'. The fourth option is cryptocurrencies, more specifically, Bitcoin, due to its stock to flow ratio, ease of transmission, and divisibility. But, I still have no idea why 'Bitgold' disappeared. They had a great concept of being able to instantly buy and use gold simply with your debit card... or get physical delivery of that same gold. Personally, I think they were slapped down/bought out by the government. A real pity.

Yep, that and he was the gate keeper keeping African muslims from engulfing Europe which he gave stark warning to all the prominent European leaders. I agree with you, as for me I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k.

Yes, Mike Maloney openly acknowledged that a large portion of our currency supply came into existence during the Covid crisis. In fact, the fractional reserve as of 2020 has been abolished, and banks are no longer required to keep vault cash around. Of course, any bank in this current system can't loosen their reserves too much or lower their vault cash amounts too low, or else they'd be much more vulnerable to financial collapse. The big fear right now is the derivatives market, which is worth hundreds of trillions of dollars, multitudes greater than the entire world economy's GDP.

Mike, I absolutely love your work. tears welled up in my eyes when you spoke about remedial schooling, I'm 40 and have never understood what's wrong why I hate reading yet can't get enough of you tube and the like!!! I have a natural gift to teach but I've never found something I'm passionate about enough. Your passion and work explains the monetary system so beautifully that I am now able to spread this message with conviction and passion. I have indeed taken small steps and bought silver because it's all I can afford at this time. I wish I could wake more people up to this reality and make more of an impact. I personally think this crisis will indeed affect every single household on earth, I have begun saving food, seeds, water, silver and clothing. It's going to be a roller coaster.! If you purchase gold or silver from anyone, make sure it is Gold or Silver and not paper that states you have gold or silver.. Put your gold or Silver in your own vault. Never go to a broker and walk out with paper in your hands.

@@DaveTechCA you won't have to. Poloz is looking at digitizing Canadian currency and we don't get an option. This in my opinion is to keep banks in the system when it goes to negative interest rates because why would you use a bank when the interest rate is negative? Also, what will you do during black out? We've seen California intentionally cut the power.

Have you tried to buy gold and silver recently. I managed 50 ounces silver yesterday but it's getting harder to find in stock.

I think this pandemic has taught people the importance of multiple streams of income unfortunately having a job doesn't mean security. So I really appreciate your transparency and giving people a fighting chance during these troubling times

He merely sells to customers to turn a small profit over spot value and proceeds to buy more. Precious metal trading in of itself is a business but it is also a way to secure your assets.

+TheMagache This period is also absolutely positively the worst time to buy precious metals. The best time is only and always when confidence in currency is soaring. Still, a little (biased) financial history is good, provided this is only the beginning of a long and wide knowledge journey.

I'd love to see an updated version of this video about every 3-5 years. That way we can see how things have changed. New data on what the worlds countries are doing, how much currency has inflated, predictions on the potential value of gold, etc. This is truly awesome information!

You say with a gold/silver currency we're less likely to get "screwed". But what's the difference between a gold-backed currency and a gold/silver-currency where ownership is traded digitally? I mean, how are we to know if we're getting "screwed" or not simply because we're transferring ownership of grams instead of ownership of numbers? - we can't check the gold/silver stock in either case - so it's still just numbers, right?

GoldSilver (w/ Mike Maloney) slightly different you can not magically create gold there is a process to even obtain it ( to break it down further you probably need energy/time/resources to extract it there is a lot of people involved in that process add in all those factors you will definitely be able to see value) that gives its value as opposed to creating figures.........Its pretty difficult to misrepresent quantities to the masses when there is a traceable standard remember there will be a reporting system. This might not be very accurate but you and me would easily know if more currency is circulated , the same way we almost know that 70% of the earth is water. The BIG question would be how did they get so much gold over such short periods because the general public is actually involved in making the whole process work. In short the gold standard involves everyone transfer wealth to the masses

David Filskov it's easy to roughly know how much money is in circulation in the whole world down to couple of 100 of thousands accuracy. The whole world system operates the same no Gold Mine operates without a license even small claims. This system could slightly be different but it's minimal if you to put on a global scale. If you really want to see that Gold is already controlled try selling some around soon or later the word certificate will start floating around depending on quality and quantity. Possession of a certain quantity without a certificate in most countries is a crime in some even the mere fact of having any gets you in jail. It has worked for centuries I doubt very much that our forefathers were wrong . It's a very interesting subject the more you get it into the more your eyes are opened it goes on and on to the one I feel is not only unfair but the nail on the coffin " FRACTIONAL LENDING. I avoid credit cards and loans like the plague, my only debt currently is my home loan which was mandatory, got half payed off already.

I'm glad you mentioned cryptocurrency, it saved me asking the question. It seems to me the key issues are individuals and organisations having control over their money and reducing their counterparty risk. cryptocurrency could play a significant role in the global economy digital age. we all know gold has a proven track record of storing wealth, but as a medium of exchange physical gold requires complex and expensive logistics, and security unless you use a intermediary for storage, and ownership allocation. This introduces a counterparty. the counterparty also requires a clearing system for transaction over distance. All of this is accommodated in the bitcoin protocol, here we have clear title and control, in a trustworthy ledger. Where an individual can have the security, and sovereignty over his wealth, of a nation. Its mind boggling, but not impossible, that we could see could we see an ' International Bitcoin Standard...?'

19:18 mike, i dont really agree with transfering ownership using a check, cc, or cellphone. because it will just create a hole in new monetary system (in gold and silver). people will start using numbers in computer instead of real money. whats the difference does it make ? it will be just change from paper into numbers in computer and surely will collapse another 30-40 years. and there will be just war and war again. i think, we have just to established gold and silver, no banks, no lending money on interest, and thats it. it's alienate society from greedy goverments.

The more videos I watch about gold the more I understand its significance despite what many people refer them to as non-productive asset. I invested a little into Bitcoin but I see both gold and Bitcoin playing a similar role, one has 5000 years old history the other one is digital and has more relevance in a world that becomes more and more digital.

Mr. Maloney, I am glad that you are here with us today. I must say. I am learning a lot today. I had just finished watching the news on the shutdown and other news. when the next thing to play was this story. But it started on the 9th episode. I had to go and look for the 1st episode. I love this guys content. The part where he was talking about using gold by trading access to gold vaults instead of physical gold is literally exactly what bitcoin is! The problem with the gold method is there still will be big banks to facilitate those transactions. However, with bitcoin there is no need for a bank.

@@TheRaz2023 You are right it could take a bit longer. I heard that the idea is to flood the world with dollar to bring about the one world currency. The US dollar is the only currency backed by an Army with over 800 military bases around the world. If you don't accept dollar you are doomed., I mean bombed. Some say that the idea is to bring a cashless society or the mark of the beast, without it you can't by or sell. And partially the US dollar is the mark of the beast. Without USD you can't buy or sell oil. Also you can't make international transactions without going through SWIFT . You can't settle international debt without going through the US dollar. Sooo the USD could have a long life, but the world is screwed either way. ......

April 5, 2020. You can only imagine the "astronomical" increase the gold and silver will be in the next couple of years. Thank you for this video. Although it's not your fault, I'm still wondering why they're printing so much this year. My only guess is cause they want to destroy the dollar on purpose for a different type of currency. Idk. Becaus of you and peter Schiff I've been convinced to buy my first gold and silver coins today. Will continue to watch the next episodes.

Crazy I just read this in April 4, 2020. And yes. 30 trill printed and counting

We are currently (2023) going through dedollarisation but when this video was made there was no CBDC story.

I have been watching these episodes since 2010. Thank you and yes I’m still watching in 2023. . I can’t believe the system has not crashed yet. Not sure who is still believing the fake currency is real. People buy gold silver and platinum. ASAP your opportunity is about to be too late soon. If you want to be in the wealth transfer movement.

But no real intrinsic value in a bitcoin. Gold and silver have real uses besides as money (industrial, medical, etc). Also, while bitcoin might have a limit, there are no practical limits to the number of crypto coins that can be created.

Mr. Maloney thank you for the lessons on Economics. The Lotus (co op) that you had an accident in was not a good car. Thank god your injuries were not too bad. Robert from CANADA.
