If I owned this watch, I'd try and get every excuse I can to submerge it. 😄
I love how they creatively use the Starfleet insignia on their watches. Guessing they’re Trekkies over there at DeBethune
It's cool, but trying to make out the time underwater, even with the light, seems impractical. But I do agree with it being a dive 'style' watch.
Uses battery for ligth?

The energy is produced by the flywheel in the same way a dynamo torch works. Just uses up the 5 day power reserve a lot quicker. But it's an awesome feature!

I laugh at myself. I clicked on the video thinking you were comparing DB to a Grand Seiko. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just funny :-)
All for the fraction of the price of a RM
A few thoughts on this piece: - Surprised it doesn't have a 36,000 beat rate - Surprised it's a press fit deployant clasp - Not sure grade 5 titanium (6AL4V) has a higher Rockwell hardness than 316 stainless steel - The governor at 3 throws off the symmetry of the dial...I wish they would have tucked it behind that vertical bridge
