Hey guys does anyone know why Hardwell puts the low level, i.e.. bass, a little down when using different effect on a mixer? I'd be grateful if someone explains this trick

You get rumbling effects if bass if is on full level. You cannot have 2 sub elements playing same time. If you are a producer thats why we use sidechain on bassline its the same thing he is doing because the delay effect makes extra sample which overlaps the original.
