wow man you did an awesome job on this dominoes project and keep up the great work by making more videos by breaking the world record of dominoes

Eventhough some things failed, I love how much creativity you guys put into the projects. You're not just building big fields, you rather come up with so many diffrent techniques, which is awesome :)

And that is exactly our intention :) We cannot grow as fast as other groups so we like to use our dominoes in the more quality way. One of our key elements in our domino projects is originality, creativity, innovations and diversity. All of those above archievements or records! ~Wdomino

Those were great projects! I only now watched the entire video.

Even though some projects failed, this was definitely your best event yet in terms of design :) Everything is so clean and neatly built - even the lines. 1:37 I love those color changing dominoes that you used throughout the setup. They make such a cool effect, and you used them in the most practical ways! 2:30 this trick is SO cool - every time I see it I'm just like "wow!" :D Are those dominoes taped together on each row? Also, the paint can curved walls were a great idea! And how do the dominoes fall off the stained glass thing? Is each board angled down so they fall off or is it slippery or something? Neat effect nevertheless. Finally, that ending fallwall was just amazing! I was so surprised when I saw the colored dominoes fall down behind it - such a great effect. Amazing setup guys!!

Thank you very much! :D Exactly what you said was our intention. A clean, desinged and a taken-care-of project and show. And the "wow" effects were the focus of this year as it seems to be the most beautifull effect in domino. 2:30 is indeed taped on every line of dominoes (abit different then we did in 2014) so it would fall much quicker. The stained glass project took the most hours of building it (decor and testing) and was even the only project that fell down during building up completly. Soon in the extra's and test videos you will see that like at Escher, the dominoes will go up, each row touching one of the layers and on the layers itself, more dominoes are connected to the other layers so that every group of 3-4 layers will be toppled by that vertical tower of dominoes. Its a bit technical but like I said, it will be explained in the extra video :) I will promise you that haha! Many thanks, ~Wdomino

Hey Hevesh, Thanks for the compliments and nice words The dominoes in the stained glass thing :D, are standing on strait angle but the hole structure is standing slightly on an angle to the back so when the dominoes fall on top of the next the friction makes them fall off.

I really liked this editon of DDT, really liked the paintbrush, coloring page, modern line domino, van gogh, the fallwall and the DDT logo! Amazing job for every builder and congrats with the new record! I hope i can be there next year :)

One of the best project I ever seen.

This has so many amazing aspects! Every single trick is super cool and the incorporation of colour changing dominoes is really effective;) Some really nifty tricks in here! I really enjoyed it!

We know. We planned a new production of bridges and direction changers before 2016 and our plan already was a new production of fieldstarters in the next months which will get a top priority after the results of this event. ~Wdomino

Extra video(s) will of course come :D And eh... fieldstarters........ xd Well, we planned an evaluation so I can guess it will be talked about :P We know what went wrong and we know what to do next year - something we already wanted but couldnt manage for this project. ~Wdomino

This was absolutely fantastic! I really loved what was going on at 5:00. Other awesome projects were the Adam recreation, the dominoes that flipped over to create a picture (glad that ended up working), and the end project. But my favorite part was the project at 7:50. That was genius! The team did a great job and I think this was your best work yet! Fun fact: last year at ISM 1 we were talking about potential themes for next year and I mentioned a Sports theme. Then i realized that had already been done by you guys. Well, a few weeks ago, I was talking with my mom about potential themes for 2017, and.....a good idea that came up was pretty much exactly this. I guess I'll scratch that lol. You represented the theme really well. 10:43 HEY! You got my hopes up for some music! Is there potentially any footage of the live performance?

Thanks so much for the kind words! Funny how our teams thought alike like that :P There is footage of the live performance, but we'd have to discuss where we would want to upload it. There are basically two options, either in an extended version of the falldown + show on this channel which would be uploaded in a few months probably, or on my channel whenever I feel like uploading it. We've planned an evaluation in a few days and it'll probably be a point I'll bring to the table. 'Till then you'll have to wait ;)

we were just as baffled as you :/ Luckily we still got the record but it was a close call. Look at it from the bright side: we'll have a huge margin for the record next year :P

Awesome as every year, you just make the most creative events :-) I've been planning to visit you at a falldown every year but I never do, so I'll make a resolution now that I'll watch live in 2017. The fieldstarter thing would have been funny (except for you :P) even in an poor quality event, but it's even funnier with all of these hugely complicated and successful projects around it xD

@Annodomino I will hold you onto that haha. We laughed when reviewing the falldown that the most difficult projects succeeded as the most simple projects failed xD (Never happened anywhere I guess) I hope to create a meeting once with you man :) Then I will come to you ^^

Thanks for your comment! Yeah, the fieldstarters were a big mistake, but I think we will manage them next year. On the other hand, all the walltopplers did work, so that was a good thing ;-) ~PenB

We set up simple plates which we were afraid to fall towards the line so we set them up more against the field with the thought it it falls, it will not topple the line or field just yet. But this resulted in a too narrow field of space between the field and the fieldstarter. It simply didnt have enough power to topple the dominoes (like setting up a straight line very close to each other). We definetly will make new fieldstarters (like Domino Day) so we NEVER will have this ever again xD ~Wdomino

I would comment something to more original like I usually do but I don't have time so I'll just be supportive and say "great video!" 😁

Hey Jochem, bedankt! We hadden dit jaar veel gruis op de vloer waardoor we ervoor gekozen hadden de vlakstarters tegen de stenen te laten rusten, hierdoor was er echter te weinig kracht over om ze om te stoten. De bruggen zijn idd. zelf gemaakt en werken uitstekend, beter als onze vorige versies. Overigens hebben we ook de Direction Changers zelf gemaakt.

Hey thanks! :D De vlakstarters waren te dicht tegen het veld aan waardoor de vlakstarter geen kans kreeg om de hoeveelheid stenen voorover te duwen. We zetten simpelweg de platen neer op de grond en waren bang dat het terug kon vallen ieder moment. Paar weken terug hadden we al besloten nieuwe vlakstarters te maken voor 2017 at nu natuurlijk extra prioriteit krijgt. Modern Art (3:08) zijn inderdaad zelf gemaakte bruggen, verlengers en steunpilaren speciaal gemaakt voor dat project. Een productie van nieuwe bruggen en klaphekjes zijn een paar maanden geleden van start gegaan. ~Wdomino

Wooow! Super vet! Jammer dat sommige fields of andere dingen niet vielen zoals het grote Mondriaan field. Die fallwalls op 9:49 zijn van Pim en Bart zeker? :D Welke plaats bouwden jullie het? En ik zou volgend jaar zeker willen komen kijken! :D

De fallwalls zijn van Jaap en Pim en Bart, de bovenste twee van Jaap onderste van Pim en Bart. Zou erg leuk zijn je een keer te ontmoeten, als je onze facebookpagina in de gaten houd kom je er het snelst achter bij welk evenement we nog meer te vinden zijn.

Hey Electric Domino! Ik las je reactie van 10 maanden geleden ;) Als het je leuk lijkt om dit jaar langs te komen... de falldown is op 19 augustus. Lijkt ons leuk als je er bent. Op Facebook komt binnenkort meer informatie

really cool setup, the fieldstarters was realy bad :( the one line for start the fieldstarters was not so good, two lines are better for the next setup, congratulations for the new Record :) I LOVE this Setup
