Thanks, glad you like it ( ^-^)
Really great video and a good first introduction to the gores basics. The only thing that might confuse new players is the part about seeing if you used double jump, as it’s kinda hard to see on your tee. So for people who are not seeing it, the color of the feet gets darker when you already double jumped. It depends on your color and skin how much you can see the difference. Other than that, great video. Hopefully you make some more in-depth tutorials as well
I would have loved to have seen a video like this when I was learning to play, excellent explanation
thank you so much bro, this is a great video, i've been searching for such a guide for so long🖤 i have 14 hours in total and i almost finished "Planet Mercury" yesterday(i was able to finish but had to go), it was like a 4 star map or smth, enjoyed a lot actually!
This is perfect! So well explained. Listening to you was weirdly relaxing for some reason 😂 Fantastic job! (Cecily)

hey would you happen to know why I get these random split second stutters that make my hook not hook onto platforms or rubberbands me back a little? These random stutters almost always ruin my run. I'm really confused as to why this happens because the gore severs I play on say I have ~20 ms, and according to the steam fps counter I have around 400 - 500 fps. This has kind of ruined my experience because it wont matter how good I get if I have these random stutters I can't play. Thanks for any help.
@TWFrozen
Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply! My first guess would be your internet connection, this used to happen to me back in the day when my internet connection wasn't good. It's very infuriating to play Teeworlds with lags because of the constant stuttering. You could try downloading the newest version of the game from ddnet.tw/downloads/ and see if that does anything, but these are random things to try out to see if you get lucky.
hey, on which map did you do the front save showcase?

I'm actually quite curious about one thing - what sensitivity do gores players use? Because their movement is so smooth and jittery at the same time (especially when they spin)
@TWFrozen

Here is a spreadsheet that has the settings of good gores players. You want to find whatever works for you and you feel comfortable with.

8:10 how can i pratice this, are there any maps for praticing one pixel spots or how to call them idk
@TWFrozen
Жыл бұрын
The space is one game tile in size so they're often called "one tiles" or "one tile spots", something like that. The map shown in the video is Yo4Lama, it has that short one tile spot close to the spawn. 4Apfelsaft has a vertical one tile spot right next to spawn and ChillerDragores7 has a vertical and a horizontal one tile spot right above the spawn. If you wanted you could make your own practice map with the map editor. You'll learn what maps have what spots over time as you play :)
Whats the map at 8:28 called? I remember playing it but forgot the name.

Focus on doing your best by playing safe and solid. Think before you act and don't let your ego get in the way. Support your teammates instead of getting angry at them, help them be better.

Where to find all gores maps
Dude, can you recommend maps that are easy for me and I won't get bored? By the way, my playing time is 82 hours.
@TWFrozen

Make goals! Like finishing all maps in the Easy category, maybe even try soloing them all. You can do this for any difficulty category. This way you can always challenge yourself, you can try beating your own time on maps you really like :)
What's the map name
Why is it called "Gores" and how is it different from DDRace?
@TWFrozen
26 күн бұрын
I assume the origin of the name is because the map that the game mode is based off of is called "aip-gores" so people started calling it "gores".
7:26 how do you get arrows ?

Write "cl_show_direction" in the F1 console and press Enter, "cl_show_direction 1" will show directions for other players, "cl_show_direction 2" will show it for other players and yourself.

I don't know what you mean by that, if you mean the map in the video it's "aip-gores".
Good video, but WAY too split in terms of audio recording. It sounds bad when it is 5 words followed by a 3 second pause, then 5 words and another 3 second pause. It would have been better if you had more of a connected commentary.

Really? I think it’s exactly right for an introduction to the basics where too much information just distracts the viewer. For a complete tutorial on some of the moves it might be better to do less moves per video, but with more detailed explanations. So if you make it a Series where this is the first introduction I think it’s just fine 😁
@NamaeofLife
2 жыл бұрын
@@iamhardliner It isn't too much information, but the dialogue is just too spaced out. Think of the tempo that teachers talk at. He is teaching how to play kog and so he should have the tempo of a teacher.
