    Really great video and a good first introduction to the gores basics. The only thing that might confuse new players is the part about seeing if you used double jump, as it’s kinda hard to see on your tee. So for people who are not seeing it, the color of the feet gets darker when you already double jumped. It depends on your color and skin how much you can see the difference. Other than that, great video. Hopefully you make some more in-depth tutorials as well

    hey would you happen to know why I get these random split second stutters that make my hook not hook onto platforms or rubberbands me back a little? These random stutters almost always ruin my run. I'm really confused as to why this happens because the gore severs I play on say I have ~20 ms, and according to the steam fps counter I have around 400 - 500 fps. This has kind of ruined my experience because it wont matter how good I get if I have these random stutters I can't play. Thanks for any help.

  • @TWFrozen

    @TWFrozen

    Жыл бұрын

    Sorry for the late reply! My first guess would be your internet connection, this used to happen to me back in the day when my internet connection wasn't good. It's very infuriating to play Teeworlds with lags because of the constant stuttering. You could try downloading the newest version of the game from ddnet.tw/downloads/ and see if that does anything, but these are random things to try out to see if you get lucky.

    8:10 how can i pratice this, are there any maps for praticing one pixel spots or how to call them idk

  • @TWFrozen

    @TWFrozen

    Жыл бұрын

    The space is one game tile in size so they're often called "one tiles" or "one tile spots", something like that. The map shown in the video is Yo4Lama, it has that short one tile spot close to the spawn. 4Apfelsaft has a vertical one tile spot right next to spawn and ChillerDragores7 has a vertical and a horizontal one tile spot right above the spawn. If you wanted you could make your own practice map with the map editor. You'll learn what maps have what spots over time as you play :)

    Good video, but WAY too split in terms of audio recording. It sounds bad when it is 5 words followed by a 3 second pause, then 5 words and another 3 second pause. It would have been better if you had more of a connected commentary.

    Really? I think it’s exactly right for an introduction to the basics where too much information just distracts the viewer. For a complete tutorial on some of the moves it might be better to do less moves per video, but with more detailed explanations. So if you make it a Series where this is the first introduction I think it’s just fine 😁

  • @NamaeofLife
